I have a Saint Bernard and my ex brought home a cat 😒 it ended up we got 4 cats because it was pregnant.. yippee 😬 My Saint Bernard was better with the kittens then the mother cat and the god damn cat legit stole food with no problem . 1/2 lb of turkey on the counter as I run to pee. Gone when I got back. Wasn’t the dog, Cats are gone 🥳 and my Saint is still with me.. happy to slowly follow and lay around with me all day and is the most gentle and intuitive dog. Just yesterday I got upset and she came over and sat on my foot. Cats could care less.

I see there's a dogs vs cats comment war below me...so i'm just going to clarify a few things: Generally speaking, cats are more intelligent than dogs and require less care due to better self-sufficiency, but dogs tend to be more involved with their masters and attempt to defend obey their with very admirable effort (which in turn makes them easier to train for practical purposes since cats have a strong sense of independence) Both cats and dogs do love their masters, except they express it in different amounts (cats can seem like they don't care but they do...quite a lot in fact, while dogs always express their cares with bubbly, and sometimes excessive happiness) Both cats and dogs have a tendency to destroy things from curiosity (and boredom)...albeit in different ways. Cats scratch things, while dogs chew things. They both however, share the tendency to jump unto places where they can reach and knock things over. Cats and dogs generally get along reasonably well compared to most other animal pairings. Unfortunately, their tail motions express different things (cats wagging=annoyed, angry, or scared while dogs wagging=happy and excited), so they usually have trouble reading one another when first meeting.

I was a biologist and biology teacher before learning animal communication. I now realize how limited our protocols really are, when we attempt to measure intelligence only through our human understanding. Intelligence, like consciousness, is not quantifiable in this way. Not trying to continue with the arguing, but I'd like to know on what basis do you make the notion about feline intelligence exceeding canine? A border collie called Chaser has a 1000-word vocabulary, understands the difference between nouns and verbs and understands syntax. In addition, she's shown to be able to make deductions through a process of elimination. I'd like to see a cat do as well.

That may be your sad truth but I think "Dear Puppy" would be incredibly entertaining. If they chose the right breed. Now if they chose a poodle, granted that would be like watching five minutes of Speedy Gonzales on speed. However if they chose something a bit more calmer, for example a shihtzu, we might have something. Dogs are loyal, true friends. Unlike cats that are mostly invested in themselves, dogs can actually sense your emotions and try to comfort you when you're feeling down or pounce on you with tail wags and make you laugh when you're happy. That isn't to say that I don't like cats. Granted I I didn't in the past. I was actually terrified of them. However, that all changed when I met Salem, my cat that carried me through my teen years into my adulthood. He was more like a dog than what I thought of as a stereotypical cat. Loyal to a fault. He *loved* attention. Would often just come up to me and head butt my hand when he wanted to be petted. He would often comfort me when I was sad. Just jump up on the bed with me, cuddle close and lay there until whatever was bothering me eventually drifted away. I really, really miss that black ball of fluff...

The creators of this series of ads are the best. Is it a video advertising a product or perfect product placement in an video? It is neither. It is both. It is genius. It is the perfect narrow grey area between them where entertainment influences desire. People mostly want to skip through and forget ads. This one makes me want to watch and remember the product. P.S. I do not have a cat.
