For 2025 I have started implementing systems-rather than goals-to support me in living each day as the best version of myself. So far it’s working. A bit of caffeine, energizing music, and reminding myself that God is with me and encouraging me with “Action, action, action” all have helped.

Unbelievable! I needed this!This was my life 18 months ago. Moved to new place making a long distance relationship now a every day one. I left my job, left behind family, friends, my church, my hobbies and more. I have struggled with the change but I saw God move me. It was so clear. I have been a subscriber for a number of years to your channel and one thing that kept me was that it was not boring. I like the phrase easy on the nervous system. Control is also an issue for me and one of the reminders I tell myself is 'don't sweat the small stuff.' Loved your letter and the concept! 2024 was one of the most difficult years of my 64 years, but on one hand was one of the best! I learned to fully surrender and rely on God. Dominique like you!! Lost my husband, and decided to move from Houston to Dallas to be near my sisters children, my life in Houston did not hold anything for me any more. Sold my house in 4 days, had to be out of my house very quickly. Found a beautiful senior 55 apartment and was moved in in 3 months from the time that I sold my home!! It was sad to leave my husband, who I could not go and visit when I wanted to, but my life is so full up here!! God has been my driving force for me too!! Found a church that I love!! I think I need to write my self a letter to remind me what I lost, but I gained so much more in the move. Thank you for this beautiful letter!! I’m in tears because it opened me up to something that I need to do!! Writing a letter today! ❤

I love the conversation on purging as you have moved. I moved 3 timed in the last 3 years and each time I donated so much. I somehow almost thought I had to keep things but my family said go for it you will feel lighter. I sure did. It was emotional at times but necessary. I kept special pieces of furniture and art and downsized into the comfortable space I live in surrounded by things that bring me joy. No regrets.

Dominique, here's my favourite saying....I've made many changes in my life because of this saying. Feel free to share. “Change is expensive.” No matter what you want in life, you must give up something to get it. It’s a universal law, and it works like this…The greater the value of what you want, the greater sacrifice you will have to make. The truth is, that it is hard and continuous dedication that brings lasting results. There are no short cuts, easy streets, or detours. Expect to pay a price, if you want tomake your life better. I made two relocations when I was single, both great decisions. The 1st one, I started to doubt leaving the State where my parents lived. I was 25 and my Mother said.... "You've always dreamed of living there, its OK to FOLLOW that dream of yours vs always WONDER what would have happened, you can always return, you are just 6 hours away, not across the World!" With that, I moved out of State.....however I wasn't all alone, my mother's cousin lived in same town and my grandparents and aunt and uncle, cousins lived .50 mins away. Four years later I returned, missing my parents and several years later followed my parents to where my brother lived; across the country where I met my husband. With each move my financial career bloosmed, numerous buckets were checked. Once I made the decisions, I didn't think twice, nor ever regretted the moves.

I really liked this video I heard my inner voice when I was 52 to marry my best friend it was my 2nd marriage n I was a little worried because I didn’t want it to end in divorce like my first marriage but here I am going on 11 years in May n we are still very happy I am not usually a risk taker but I didn’t look at it that way I looked it as this is what God intended for me.
