Ask Jesus Yeshua for the Holy Spirit and quit looking to the bible so you can overcome the mark of the beast. Then when you do read the bible, read it only as history because that is all it is. I had the same spirit before), but I'll answer you this: you do agree it's faith in Christ that saves you right? That aligns with Ephesians 2:8-9. So Romans 10:17 tells us "Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ." Meaning that the Bible - the word about Christ - the TESTAMENT - is what gives you your saving faith in him. You could also believe by hearing it from your pastor. Is he speaking the word of God? Well, his words are not God's, but they are words that God spoke.
