I own 5 of them. 3 on bracelets and 2 on straps. I also own all 3 versions. The classic black dial, the Tin Tin and the reverse panda First Anniversary edition. I absolutely love all of them. In my opinion, this is far and away the best homage watch on AliExpress and for under $200 U.S. it is a fantastic bargain. Yes, they can be hard to get. Phylida usually only releases 2-4 at a time and they go quick. Also, they usually don't have all three versions for sale at the same time. If you really want one, just keep checking back everyday, once in the morning and once in the evening and you will eventually get one.

The Phylida is an amazing Speedmaster homage - I have the TinTin, which adds a pop of colour on the dial.

You summarised exactly how I feel about the Moonswatch. First I was intrigued, buy now I think they pretty much screwed up with their sales campaign, first announcing to make it available on line and then withdrawing it, and come one, at least get the quality right! This homage you're showing here is a nice one, but at first glance, the crystal could do with a better AR coating, right? What are your thoughts about reliability and longevity of the ST19 when you use it as an everyday wear?

Alex - you are a very perceptive and intuitive person. Yeah - I think SWATCH were more surprised than anyone else by their own success. It was confirmed that they moved a MILLION units of the moonswatch in 2022! A million units of anything is an enormous undertaking. So I think that accounts for the quality issues as well as the lack of availability on-line; they simply cannot keep up with demand. Regarding the Phylida, this was my unboxing and first impressions video. You have pointed out the two PRECISE weaknesses with this watch. The crystal needs AR coating and Phylida need to work on crisper, punchier printing on the dial. Presently the dial is not as visually arresting as it could be. Then, I have had the movement glitch out on me twice (tonight being one occasion). When the power reserve is low (I wound it this morning, but not again during the day) and I activate the chronograph, it stops the movement! These are both items I will mention in my review. Its still and epic watch and worth a mountain more than the plastic/electric parody that swatch have served up.

I own five of them but I'm afraid I haven't owned them long enough to answer the reliability and longevity question. It is actually a question I have myself. I own a lot of other watches so none of them will be an everyday wear. All I can say is all of them arrived problem free and in the time I've had them, about a year, I have had no problems with any of them. Time will tell though. I hope they run properly for many years to come.

​@@watchmebuildit Thank you Shaun for your kind words meneer! On my Seagull 1963 the chrono hand occasionally stops ticking. I only use the watch as a rare occasional wear but I still love it.

I forgot to comment on your remarks about shipping. I just checked again and shipping to the U.S. Is free. I never paid for shipping. The shipping policy must be different depending on what country you live in. Maybe it has to do with VAT. We don't pay that in the U.S.

No, I have not had any issues. I do want to make it clear though that I may not be the best person to ask. I own a lot of watches and wear each of them very infrequently. Also when I do wear my watches I don't always wind them. I do this for a couple of reasons, but one is to not put a lot of wear and tear on the movement. Because of this, my watches should run problem free a lot longer than the average person. At least I hope.

Do you turn the threaded crown clockwise or counterclockwise to wind the barrel?

The crown is not screw down on this watch. You turn in clockwise to wind

Not at all! You can turn it in either direction. When you are winding the watch you will feel a ‘buzz’ in your fingers. I would recommend you turn it 40 times in the morning. It will feel ‘tighter’ or ‘stronger’ when the spring is wound - do not turn it past this point as you could break the spring on this watch
