Coaching was awful today as well, I know WEJ is better than that. Anyway, I hope we make moves to either push us towards contending or start rebuilding. gafford always starts off well and always gets benched. it's happened like four or five games in a row, ever since thomas bryant came back. the problem is the coaching staff is addicted to this three guard rotation with two guys whose shooting isnt nearly as good as it was with previous teams (dinwiddie and kcp). so you're both giving up size and lacking shooting. their rotations are all fucked up. bryant should be playing minutes at power forward with the other centers, and kcp should be coming off the bench. im with most other fans in that we should trade beal while his value is still relatively high, but the coaching staff clearly has no clue how to use their bigs and it frustrates the hell out of me lol

To record all the long standing issues that effected Tuesdays game: Spencer being inefficient and a defensive liability but somehow manages to be played in Wes' "defensive" and "clutch" fourth quarter lineups. Wes' offensive scheme causing spacing problems and the ball dominant playstyles of Spencer and Beal coming in to conflict. Beal complaining and showing no sense of urgency in tight games until he hits "the shot" and complains to his teammates and the refs afterward. Great defensive role players like deni and Gafford getting minutes taken by Spencer and Thomas Bryant who have both declined after injuries. Wes just being out coaches by veteran coaches defensively, offensively and in small details like foul timing, rotations, timeouts, and challenges. Misappropriation of talent for nearly everyone on the roster except for out guard rotation who continue to be overated in our rotation and offensive scheme. And many, many more I haven't noticed or have forgotten.

As a Wizards fan (I’m sure no one else will say that in this comment section ;) ), this was something I was fearing would happen and hoped it wouldn’t. We are now all healthy, and there’s too much depth to run proper rotations. What could be best for the team right now could be a multi player trade for either a single greater asset or an asset and picks. Preferably one that isn’t in a shooting slump like a lot of our current shooters. I also think something has to be done with our offensive plays to get our shooters in better spots and better looks since it’s just odd how many of our 3pt shooters are averaging lows in percentages. Also, DONT trade Trez unless you already traded Beal and started a rebuild. Watching the games, I feel he is an integral part and is right now our engine on the team
