Watching this for the third, maybe fourth time now, and i am just. still so in awe. When the footsteps and placing the blocks matched the drum beat, the STUNNING perspective from above and below on the tower, and Tommy's emotions are so visceral. Like. Just from the visuals I can HEAR it. I can hear his breathlessness as he stares at the sunrise and I can hear that mixture of laughter followed by sobs before Tubbo hugs him. It is absolutely gorgeous and so tender and you can see the detail and the LIFE you put into this and I am just. Just wow. I will be rewatching this again.

This always makes me cry and I think about that ending scene where Tommy bursts out into the sun and starts crying about once a week and just remembering it makes me sit down out of all the emotions (all in the most positive way)

I’ve followed the Painted illusion series since back during that first 10-parter, and it’s been so cool watch the story line unfold. And *holy hell* seeing that brought to life is fantastic, it fills in the little spots in between and tells the story in full. I love the little detail of when Tommy places those blocks, they’re placed aggressively for lack of a better word. He isn’t careful, he just needed to get up high as quick as possible and was running on a last burst of energy. Great animatic!

Rozuuu this was so good! Every bit of this animatic came out amazing and theres so much detail! I love how it goes to green when Dream doubles down on the manipulation of Tommy by taking him to the vault, red when he kills Dream, and yellow with the rising sun!! Its so good hhrhhrh - I really liked how you made the scene with Dream "rescuing" Tommy from the tower and how they're drenched from the water, its super detailed and *almost* looks like Dream cared. FUCK. 100/10 Rozu, amazing animatic, I can't wait to see what else you have in store

CHRIST THIS IS SO GOOD. The facial expressions!! They tell so much! How you give each scene, action and reaction, time to settle into the expectator's heart while also following the song beats! The change of colors to match the shifts is story and emotion! The entire sequence of Tommy running through the nether and to his house - brilliant choice of angles! Felt like I was running WITH him! Simply fantastic! Your AU is brilliant and probably my favorite in the protegé!Tommy category, this is just the cherry on top! Amazing amazing amazing! Very well done 10/10!!!!

This turned into a very long essay, but I just wanna say I was cheering several times throughout the video because of how masterfully you timed the music; I'm gonna lose my mind in the best way possible! I was oo-ing and aw-ing like I was watching a firework show I swear. I usually bookmark every animatic I come across, but this one is getting added to my all time favorites. Everyone in the comments has already taken the words out of my mouth on how wonderful this was to watch, and I couldn't agree with them more! Honestly choosing the right song is a task in itself and molding your art around it takes dedication. In a way, every scene you drew almost enhances the song, and I'm not quite sure how to articulate it, but the music isn't yours and yet you made me fall in love with the song and give it a new meaning, one that wasn't hitting as hard before I watched this. I'm not sure that made sense, but thank you for putting in the work to make this :D A moment that stuck out to me was at 1:25 but honestly I have a few I'll be rewatching in the future. It made my heart clench the way it was acted in the actual exile stream, so thank you for illustrating it so beautifully! And him standing on top of the tower and looking at the moonnn omg I can't handle it, the way you drew his eyes shining is going to make me tear up. I have an animation thing where I love how eyes can be used to show the most emotion, so the way Tommy looks over Dream's shoulder at 3:36 is another moment I can't get over! The way the eyes opened so smoothly! I'm losing it!

Damn, talk about being emotional because of this, I felt like the tears are spilling within my eyes. Like we as the viewers saw all the traumas that c!TommyInnit have been through being went to hell and back, shatterted,broken, thrown to the wall and into smitheerins and yet he survived, he slowly built himself up, and heal from this, he may not be the same one we all love and cared for it. It's still him, the sun, the bright burning light admist the dark, awaiting to be enlighten and sparked of. This song, this animatic have inspired to strive and continue forward. Just take it slow, keep it up, take a slow sigh of breath, feel the air circled within your lungs. And open your eyes, as the sun continue to rise on the horizon a new hope awaits you.
