It’s weird, y’know, watching these compilations of Techno and knowing that… he’s gone. I’ve already cried enough tears, but it’s amazing that we have so much left of him to remember him by. I remember exactly where I was when I heard the news. I was going home from a concert and looked at KZbin and I spotted the video. I remember listening to it at a super low volume with my phone pressed up against my ear and trying to keep my crying as quiet as possible. I think we’ll all always miss him, but he’ll never be truly gone. People like that can never be truly gone. Rest in peace, Techno. Technoblade never dies o7

I also remember exactly. It was late, I was actually getting up, ready to go to work since I had the graveyard shift. I had a few extra minutes, and saw the notification on my phone. I thought, 'oh cool Techno vid before work'. But then I read the title, and my thoughts changed. 'So long nerds? Is he quitting KZbin or something?' But then the video started. And I began to get worried. Who was that man in the chair? Why was Techno's dog going up to him? Was this a face reveal? But then he spoke, and my confusion grew as he didn't sound like Techno. But then the words registered and a hole opened up in my heart. The tears came soon after, and I barely kept myself together long enough to watch the whole video. For the next 9 hours, I cried. All the way to work, during my 8 hours, and all the way back home. I had never cried as hard and as much as I did that day. It's one thing to hear someone has died, but another to hear they died, thinking about us instead of themselves. He may not have known none of us personally, but to us, he was a friend we could look to whenever we needed a pick me up. And now that he's gone... We can only make sure that he lives on through our memories. Sharing his stories with the next generation. Rest in Power Techno, you'll forever be remembered as the one and true King of Minecraft.

WRONG! Okay? SkyBlock players understand the difference between killin' Zealots in one hit and killin' them in multiple hits. It's huge, alright? Zealots only attack you when you attack them first, so if you kill them in one hit you can farm hundreds even thousands of them per hour, easily; but if they survive the first hit, they are goin' to punch you in the face and take a huge chunk of your health bar, and you're gonna have to sit there, slowly regeneratin' your health as you think about your actions. This has actually caused like a huge wealth inequality in Skyblock, cuz rich players just go along farmin' millions of coins per hour easily while poorer players that don't have strong enough swords have to put in ten times the effort to get a fraction of the results, and even when poorer players are killin' Zealots, they're often kill-stolen by rich guys runnin' around at Mach 3 dealing 20,000 damage per hit. Thus SkyBlock demonstrates the class struggle inherent to capitalist systems which can only end, with the *risin' of the Proletariat!* You know on second thought I'm not gonna be a communist because the bourgeoisie have really high crit damage and I don't- I don't really wanna mess with that. *But I refuse to click multiple times on Zealots.* This is a matter of honor, okay? My ego will not *stand* for this kind of treatment!"

I’ve never understood the pain other people have felt when a celebrity or well known person they loved died. I feel like I can now relate to those people. Technoblade’s death has broke something in me that I didn’t even know existed. He was a wonderful person, who lifted up so many people. I never knew him personally and I don’t think most people did. However, this pain in our hearts is very real. Despite only knowing and hearing him from his KZbin channel his fans have formed a connection to him. To wake up and find out that he is no longer with us is devastating. I give my condolences to his family and friends. For me, a person who never truly knew Technoblade or Alex, to feel such pain at his departure I can only imagine what torture his loved ones are going through. Goodbye Alex, you are greatly missed.

When he's animated like this, he's basically Sans from Undertale in the role of Asgore as king (Probably Storyshift King Sans). He's so chill and relaxed, loves goofing off and "exposing Dream" ("I HAVE A HOUSE!" XD), and dominates each scene he's in with his sarcastic "nonchalant-ness". Mad respect to this lad. I've only seen him back in the day appear in my recommended section and noticed over time that he was one of the original Minecraft KZbinrs who stay "unchanging" and never let the popularity get to his head or destroy him like so many others have. I regret not finding his channel sooner or watching any of his vids. He's such an interesting and funny guy. Somewhat the "adult" in the room, but remains so chill about it. You have my respects Technoblade. May you rest well, King.
