One tip for packing clothes is to use vacuum storage bags, you just put all of your clothes into a bag then use a vacuum to suck all of the air out. I used them when moving and saved so much space in my suitcase so highly recommend!! Going to miss this apartment, especially after all the hard work you did decorating it but looking forward to see what you will do in the new one! 💜

super amazed at how Sydney has packing boxes and wraps literally sold in stores, in Indonesia we buy our cardboard boxes from people working in supermarkets' unloading section sometimes, or some people will just sell boxes on the side of the street for a few thousand rupiah (very cheap!) 😂 we also ask people sometimes if we can have their random boxes lol i hope the move went well, keep your boxes in the storage for next time!

How does it work in Australia? Takes at least 2 full working week to get to sign rental contract because of references, legal etc 😅 - how can you move in so fast?

Omg that long?? where do you live? 😳 The agents here usually have an online form that you fill out and attach documents to! As long as you include everything they need (e.g. proof of identity, proof of income, rental ledgers and reference letters etc.) to show that you can afford to pay the rent they can usually get back to you with a decision the next day! 😊

Renting in Australia right now is insane, My landlord sold my last apartment so I couldn’t rent it anymore, and it took me 3 months and 27 applications to finally be approved😢 got approved on the second last business day of my old lease so I literally had 1 day to move everything, it really just is a matter of the realestate agent liking you at this point 😢
