I have been an admirer of Wolverine since 1987. My appreciation for Deadpool began in 1991. I particularly enjoyed the references to the cover of The Uncanny X-Men #251, Old Man Logan, The Incredible Hulk #340, Age of Apocalypse comics, and Cavillrine. This film serves as a heartfelt tribute to the Fox Marvel Universe.

Did...did you just talk over Wolverine putting on the mask and not react to that at all? Or was that just the editing making it look like you didn't seem to care much?

I don't have a connection to that mask that it seems alot of other people do. I'm glad you kindly asked about it instead of some of the other comments that got pissed that I haven't read/watched the same things they have so I didn't react the way they wanted.

I’ve noticed a few things during multiple watches. Laura is never played for a joke, she is always treated with respect. Also, when she talked to Logan by the fire, she starts by talking have “him” and then switches to “you” and out of respect (it seems) he doesn’t correct her, he lets her tell him this things she would have wanted to say to her Logan. Also note how she stares at Logan when they first meat. Is quietly heartbreaking.

@ 43:30 Deadpool ISN'T a Hero, hence why Wolverine had to team up in this one, Deadpool might be an anti-hero, but he is selfish and will look out for his own best imterest in the end. These Disney movies have got some audience members mislead that he's a "Superhero" he's far from even just a plain Hero.

My only concern was that you didn't engage with the original X-Men animated series from the '90s before watching X-Men '97. Doing so would have been advantageous for several reasons. The original series laid the groundwork for many characters, story arcs, and themes revisited in X-Men '97. By familiarizing yourself with the original show, you would have gained a deeper understanding of their relationships' character dynamics and historical context. This background knowledge could enhance your appreciation of the nuances and references that may appear in the new series. Just my honest opinion.

38:25 I do think that from a narrative perspective it seemed odd that Deadpool left those characters behind when he wouldn't have made it back to his dimension without them but I kinda view this in a meta way. Those old Fox-Era Marvel films never really got a proper send-off. Marvel bought Fox and just kind of left those old stories in the past. So Deadpool gave those actors a chance to have one last final hurrah. It wasn't so much of "leaving them to die" as much as "they've now had their proper ending." Also I'd wager that neither Jennifer Garner or Wesley Snipes would want to sign a multi-year contract to keep playing those characters in the MCU. 😂Regardless, this was a great send off for the Fox Universe of Marvel films. But I am curious about Dafne Keen. She was the only one from The Void that was in Deadpool's apartment at the end of the film and that makes me wonder if she's keen (pun intended) on portraying Laura in the MCU. 51:30 Forget the haters. "Be critical of the media you love" is a phrase I continue to live by. No art is perfect. I'd love to see your full commentary and criticism of the film. #ReleaseTheDeashaCut

I hate social media algorithms so I go to Incognito and search for specific reactors and you are one of the reactors that i specifically search for your reactions but this reaction felt off. Basically for some scenes, you talk about what you want in a scene while that scene is happening/going to happen right in front of you and you peek at the camera while talking It felt like you are missing the excitement of the scenes. Note: please don't think I am asking you to stop talking in your reactions, keep talking. It's just that your timing felt off in this one. Will let you know if I come across this problem again.

This movie was long and I aim for 1/3 length of the OG content) usually if my videos are too long people don't want to watch them. I always prioritize including as much of my thoughts, reactions, and flairs, then movie clips. If the movie is shorter I can be more lenient with pauses and silence but this movie was over 2 hours.
