Fun fact, Torrian (3D animator for Death Battle) wasn’t supposed to put the bit where Deadpool was dancing in the fight. That only happened because he got shitfaced drunk and decided to put it in. The guys in Death Battle loved it so much they wanted to keep the sequence in.

The reason deadpool can pull any weapon out of anywhere is because of his 4th-wall breaking ability. That ability let's him take advantage of the tropes that exist within comics. And as that weapon trope exists deadpool can use it.

Wolverine and the rest of the X-Men, all of the avengers, the fantastic four, ghost rider, black panther, etc. The only person he couldn't kill was the Joker because Batman saved him when he crossed over to DC.

Deathstroke has all this power... and I realize now that he was made a joke in the Teen Titans Go movie (Where he was just called Slade for some reason). In that movie, he Mind controlled the entire world by luring them to watch a Robin movie, but he still was defeated by the Titans while they were fighting him and singing their theme song at the same time.

He was just called Slade because that’s how it was in the original teen titans cartoon. The producers thought “Deathstroke” was too graphic of a name for a kids show, so they just gave him his first name

But if you want to see 3 people have a sword fight while riding bikes with super slippery tires, that's the thing to watch.

Iron man vs Lex Luthor. Thanos vs Darkseid. Superman vs Goku. Dante v Bayonetta. Vergil vs Sephiroph. Ryu vs Jin. Tifa vs Yang. Any/all of these fights are amazing. The animation work gets better the more recent they are too and they do really good breakdowns of all the characters and their abilities. Don't worry too much if there's some where you don't know one or even both the characters, the explanations at the start do a pretty god job of filling in relevant backstory and might even get you interested in some franchises you've never even heard of.

Deathbattle is a great place to learn a lot of history of some characters that you might not know. Deadpool vs. Deathstroke is still one of my favorites. Hawkeye vs Green Arrow, and Dante vs. Bayonetta are a close second and third so I would definitely recommend those, unless you don't wish to be spoiled before you even try DMC. BTW Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe is insane and possibly one of the more heartbreaking comics I read. Especially how he kills Spidey, gets close enough to where Peter can't react in time with Spidey-sense and blows his brains out.

I don't think this this battle was close at all tbh. They tried, which was nice I like Deathstroke a lot more as a character, but Deadpool's powers are just too much. Even without that sword eventually DP would've won in the wrong run since his healing factor is much better. Perhaps they could've had Deathstroke take the sword somehow since his reaction/perception is a lot faster and that would put them on an even plane, but that's all I could think of.

That was a dumb idea for a fight, really. I mean, Deapool can heal and Deathstroke are not. So that was predictable that Deadpool are gonna win. And this is my problem with Death Battle show. They never do their research right. They almost always put wrong characters against wrong opponents and it leads to fights like this. And if i was in charge of that show, i would put Deadpool against someone of his league. Like Wolverine, X-23 or even Wolverine's son Daken. But if that gonna be someone not from the Marvel universe, then that would probably be characters like Spinal from Killer Instinct or Darth Vader from Star Wars. Cause Spinal can't be killed and Darth Vader can just lift Deadpool up with his force powers, then rip him in half or in little pieces and throw them in the open space or in to a Sarlacc's pit and that's it. So yeah, i stoped watching Death Battle show long time ago and never will return to it. Cause i wanna see fair fights with characters who can stand a chance against each other, and not this crap.

Deathstroke can heal as well though and his suit can heal too. It was something we hadn’t known until watching this 😀 But definitely understand being turned off by a series. Not going to be for everyone 🤗🙂
