Bill Cipher makes the movie villains look lame by comparison.

I wouldn't say that. It kinda depends on the person he makes the deal with. In the human world he only managed to get free cuz Ford was a genius who built the portal with scavenged alien technology, and even then a lot of that was also thanks to McGucket. What are the odds that he'd find another chump with access to those kinds of resources with that kind of intelligence? If I remember right, Ford wasn't the first human Bill made a deal with to try and build a portal but none of the others were able to make it happen until Ford.

for freelander amber : discord knew he wouldn't win against bill, this gives two clues during the duel he writes a letter to celesti what exactly he wrote there and by Fluttershy's sad face it was a farewell letter (probably for teaching him a lesson in friendship) another example that switching discord as a puppet discord could cause them to be in bill cipher's home world covered with a canterlot bedspread, making bill think that he is still in my little pony world and the discord's words say that bill didn't recognize his former home (indicates that bill hardly came to his world and he was so absorbed in destroying the discord that the discord itself did not reveal the true reality until the portal to equestia closed. In short, Discord lost the duel with Bill, but won the war by repairing WEIRDMAGEDDON and restoring Fluttershy and her friends, as well as everything Celestia and Luna were in order (that is, all beings, apart from a few inhabitants of Equestia, died, but the rest were disenchanted with stones and tapestries, and the surroundings were cleared of Bill Cipher's crazy weirdmageddon). given that bill cipher won the death battle, he was technically defeated by discord, giving that the dragon horse (discord) saved equestia from destruction. another Doritos whose bill has been replaced may be a reference as the death battle fandom discord defeats and triumphs over bill cipher.

Interestingly, this being the 180th episode connects it with the fact that the sum of the interior angles of a triangle (which is the shape of Bill's body) is 180 degrees. Bill may have won the battle, but it seems that Discord achieved his goal as well. Unfortunately or fortunately, neither are gone for good. Bill will eventually escape from the Nightmare realm, and as a personification of Chaos, it's likely Discord will eventually reform as long as chaos exists. Unicorn hair isn't really a weakness, but it's able to be used as an ingredient to block Bill.

I do call BS on the stats of Discord at the end specifically the "Less Powerful" part. After all Discord created his OWN dimension, no seriously THAT is where his home is a dimension HE created. He also doesn't need someone to open dimension for him, he can just POOF there. While bill, he needs someone to open a door for him. Guess bill is too.. SHORT to reach the knob. Discord could also destroy a dimension like Bill did, and just remake it if he wanted too. While Bill... Yeah regrets destroying his home dimension but can't bring it back. Only reason discord wouldn't is because that would be boring to him to do. Oh and of course Discord was fooling around WAY more than usual considering fluttershy was in danger. Sure with sombra he acted similarly, BUT he purposely held back there since that was his plan to give the Mane 6 confidence. While here it doesn't make sense, unless as I said that was a CLONE discord made to distract Bill to allow him to save his friends.

Fun fact. Discord is infact deliberately based off Q. They wanted to capture the aspect of Q that was fun loving random trickster. This in-turn led them to ask John DeLance to play him. Also during the battle, when the hand came out of the sock puppet to Snap that was a nod to Q who would snap to show he was using his powers.

Discord may not be the first character on Death Battle to break the fourth wall, but he's definitely the first to USE the show to his advantage. In a series where everyone is just trying to kill their opponent, regardless of whether it makes sense or not, Discord uses this as a DISTRACTION to rescue not only his friends, but his entire universe. He was never trying to defeat Bill (although obviously, that would have been the best outcome), he was just trying to stop his wrath. Whilst Bill was focused on winning the Death Battle, Discord was focused entirely on winning the PLOT'S battle! And he succeeded!

The best part of this battle, that both of those chaotic gods are lost and won at the same time. And also, both results(Bill`s stuck in Nightmare Realm and Discords death) are temporal. Bill will eventually find somebody to make a deal with and free himself and Discord will always exist, as long, as there`s chaos in the universe.

For the next battle episode, I can tell that Alex mercer is going to die (Played prototype 1 & 2) for 3 main reasons. 1: His ultimate defensive ability is a hinderance to his mobility which most of his powers need his ability like his claws, & power arms (he goes from being able to jump ~50 ft to being able to reach the ceiling height of a 2-story building, also power arms just reinforce his throwing capabilities & punches). 2: He's weak to human technology (more specifically explosions, & gas). 3: It takes some time to absorb people into his body for health (he can absorb people with his hook ability but its limit to absorb more than one person is 5-7 people & that took him about ~3 minutes to fully digest them in his body & gain their memories). P.S. Alex can absorb people to gain their memories & body figure

Honestly this should've been a draw. However since this was the 1st champion's poll winner, and people hate draws in DeathBattle. They decided there had to be a winner. The thing is as a Brony I can correct the mistakes they made with 2 of Discord's "weaknesses". I apologize in advance if this sounds/reads rude, or takes up alot of time. 1. This will cover Discord's soul. When Starlight(the purple unicorn that hit him with the big blast) cast that spell it didn't destroy his body. It made it so he couldn't physically set foot/hoof/claw on schoolgrounds. Which is why he sent his spirit to cause some trouble. He probably could've broken her spell completely if he wanted to. Also, while it's never said in the show that his soul is immortal. It's never said that it isn't as immortal as his body. B. This'll cover him fading from existence. Wiz said it himself that Discord has to go against his nature for that to happen. Which means only Discord can make himself fade away. No1 else can do it, not even Bill.

They used to be willing to dig through info, and find proof. Like in Raiden vs. Wolverine. They dug, and found out Misty Knight's Antarctic Vibranium arm can do what Raiden's sword does. Which is why he could/did beat Logan.

Lol I was hoping to see that someone learned their lesson from Pheonix vs Raven. I was personally leaning more so towards Bill. Not necessarily because I wanted him to win, but because they talked about how he could manipulate spirits and regenerate his own while Not saying anything about Discord in that regard besides the fact that he could continue as a spirit if his body is destroyed. It was kinda obvious for me because Bill can destroy spirits as well as physical bodies. That was literally why Phenix vs Raven turned out the way it did at the end. Raven had the advantage as far as taking care of souls.

I'm pretty sure they didn't know. The only reason why there is a warning about summoning Bill Cipher is because Ford wrote it in his journal. So, I doubt anyone in Equestria knew the truth. I still theorize that Discord threw the pie to give him enough of an opening to silently snap his fingers, cloning himself and shrinking himself down. While his clone distracts bill, the real discord saved his friends while he hid in the letter. The very same letter Fluttershy was looking at during the final scene, she probably SAW him on the page like in a part bill couldn't see. With Discord doing the "Finger to mouth to signal". Sure bill DID kill Discord, but who's to say that was the MAIN one. After all, Discord could never fight bill to the death, would be something Fluttershy would be against after all. During this fight he was fooling around, but when looking at the source material of MLP FIM we fans know... Discord fools around and jokes for the most part, but when fluttershy is in danger or even KIDNAPPED, he goes serious as he can... Going all "Where's fluttershy?" *Menacing eyes* So.. WHY would he be fooling around the entire time, unless.... He knew he his plan was working, and he knew he would "DIE".

ehh...the fight animation isn't meant to be a representation of what would definitively happen, it's just there for fun, so the specifics of what's shown don't really matter anyway their analysis is more along the lines of "if they fought each other tons of times in tons of different scenarios and starting situations, who would end up the winner most often?" since you can never have a definitive answer for a question like that. in fact, that's what "we've run the data through all possibilities" is meant to reference, the fact that it's not supposed to be "what the animation shows is definitely how a fight between these two characters is guaranteed to go". it's just "here is one possible fight between these two characters where both characters are able to show themselves off as best as possible and the winner is the character our research convinced us would win most often between the two" so the specifics of what happen in the animation itself are basically irrelevant, since they make the animation _after_ they've done all their analysis. and a specific series of events like what you're saying wouldn't change the death battle team's final analysis; if anything, it just means they "chose" the "wrong animation" in some sort of metafictional sense and should've had an animation where bill _did_ definitely win

In reality Discord beats Bill and he takes things seriously when Flutershy is in danger so his oelea style had to be different and he could also create unicorn hair or better alicorn hair and he would have to wrap it around a part of his body like this doing immune to any attack and bill's spells, and Discord cannot die since he is Chaos itself, as long as chaos exists, Discord can continue regenerating his body as many times as he wants and even if Bill after destroying chaos he could not since If he destroys chaos he would destroy himself since he is not a being of order, he would disappear if he did that. It gets complicated with characters like Doomsday and Link that WILL come back. It does say another form and time, so that doesn’t mean he’ll be able to continue (a rabbit for instance is a theoretical possibility)

I have stated this again and again, ut in my humble opinion, this battle was a draw, Discord was destroyed and Bill was returned to his Nightmare Realm. Discord can come back from complete destruction as long as chaos and disharmony exists, meaning both could return... just not quickly enough to continue the fight indefinetly.

Alex may have better defensive, close range combat and manouverability options, is way smarter thanks to the fact when he consumes people, not only he gets their memories, he gets their knowledge as well and has a broken regeneration, making him a ''weaker version of Carnage'' in a nutshell, but Cole has way more oomph in his powers, is faster to get upper hand against Alex's mobility, most of his arsenal is for long-range combat, that includes precice sniper shots and in canon, Cole also has ice powers, which can prove difficult for Alex to counter. Although Alex has better option for recharging himself than Cole has.

Alex has a lot of versatility but Cole has the better range and hits harder in all his skills like you said Cole has the disadvantage on recovering and recharge that being said Cole should have the speed advantage over Alex. Alex needs to be completely vaporized which is something Cole can actually do in an instant given the opportunity so is whether or not Cole can land the killing blow fast enough since attrition is his enemy on this match up.
