By 1912 Rabbits was removed from the order Rodentia, and placed into a new order Lagomorpha, along with Hares and Pikas.

At 0:54, FUN FACT: During the filming of the movie, "Monty python and the holy grail" A friend of Monty's donated his rabbit for "The Killer Bunny Rabbit" scene. They dyed the rabbit's mouth red for a splash of gore effects. Sadly, the bunny passed away a few weeks after shooting the scene. The owner complained that the red dye wouldn't come out of his rabbit's fur. He had to burry him with a blood red mouth!
