Death is the reason we have a ton of the metal today. Chuck was an amazing man and so talented! RIP.

One of the grandfathers of Death Metal but by the late 90s as in this song you can hear how much more developed the style was: still aggressive, still fast but that feeling of how you were humming along the guitar melodies on the hook? That is pure music joy and goes beyond genres: I think many people can really appreciate songs like this even if they otherwise would not give something as abrasive as extreme metal a chance.

How haven’t I seen this one from you?! Just showing up now. God I love Death with a passion. Currently learning this song right now. The intro has to be one of my favorite intros of all time. Such a nicely put together harmony intro between Chuck and Schuldiner and Bobby Goelble, and it works perfectly together. Then that main riff kicks in and blows you away. First time hearing it I was like “Death doin a clean sound this time?” Then BAM that main riff kicked me right out my seat man. Such talented musicians. Sad to know that Chuck passed at such a young age. We lost him too soon.. 🙏🏼
