Belt bag is such a good addition. Actually makes half of the buyable items usable since usually, unless you planned on leaving it at the facility, it wasn't worth using an inventory slot for potentially an additional transfer. We can finally take all our boomboxes, flashbangs, walkies, flashlights, lockpickers, etc instead of having to choose, or to choose not to.

Feels like belt bag is trying to motivate you to bring more niche stuff like zap guns or lockpicks with you to the entrance more often. Don't really see much use past that though as bringing it deeper in the facility is going to be annoying regardless (as it now takes 2 slots to use 1 gear item, one for the bag and one for the gear)

To all the people saying "belt bag is so OP" have you actually tryed using it? it's quite cumbersome and unwieldy and that base 16 Lbs tends to complicate things more than you'd think while making lock picker even more irrelevant due to keys It might become a main stay for combat oriented playstyles for sure being able to pack stun grenades/extra shotgunshells for when you come across a high value target but if you plan on using scouting or hauling equipment it's borderline a hard pass

but with the bag you can cross adamance bridge with a shovel and light without breaking it. also counter point it doesnt just enable combat it also enables the technical side such as being able to tame slimes with boombox's or taking tzp so you cna take 2 handeds to the ship much easier. while I think it's OP in the sense that it removes that question of what should you take (often made irrellevant by jetpack later on) and now you just grab and go. I would love if it even had just 4 slots as your still getting a net +3 on slots which often is just enough to get the barebones equipment with a decent loot run while also not completely sacrificing the "what should I take?" question that you have early on in the game. edit: for the boombox this would enable continued solo play as you can counter a main camping slime and move it away and trap it if you can as well.

The bag looks very helpful since we always get into the problem of leaving behind tools to have space for scrap. It will make more viable bringing all the tools you need and before leaving pack them all up since 1 space of the bag with X amount of item will be more valuable than a single scrap. Although i personally always wanted a similar bag but it gives you like 4 extra inventory space but just for tools in which you can use them with hotkeys directly.

All the changes are great but I don’t like the vow mineshaft chance being decreased. If you wanted to play mineshaft then it was basically guaranteed that you could, but now it’s not. Also I believe that there are no moons that have mineshaft as the most likely choice, which sucks if that’s true.

I disagree with all those saying the bag is OP. But i do understand it, because that was my knee jerk reaction too. But because you can't use things in the bag without having to take them out and put them in a regular slot, you wont be using any more than one item at a time anyway, and you probably wont carry the bag into the interior. It only makes transporting equipment easy and doesn't brake the integrity of the inventory system. Bags in bags might need to be fixed, and i could see there being less slots. But otherwise i think it works exactly as the good LORD Zeekers intended. My only problem is, there is a bit of charm lost. Storage always had a very physical feel, because you had to actually plonk down an item when you wanted to store it. The bag feel very gamey. Like a minecraft chest.

I personally feel like the belt bag would be much more usable if it wasn't for equipment ONLY. When I play serious runs with my friends, the most we ever bring is a flashlight, if needed we drop it and take a shovel instead. I think it would be cooler if it could carry small, one-handed items that do not weight anything, like ducks, horns, and dustpans.
