Just FYI the Avatar doesn't half the damage from Mortarion, and Mortarion ignores his own degrading.

The update with the dataslate/rules update creates a number of different categories. Model characteristics, weapon characteristics, attack characteristics, and unit characteristics. Morty's ability states it affects model characteristics. Half damage affects attack characteristics. Morty's ability as written doesn't affect damage modifiers that state they affect attack damage.

looks like you missused a fate dice to substiture a die allready rolled. You have to choose to use a fate dice befor the roll

Fnp mechanic was changed you only need to roll one dice for 1 mortal wound. Not equal dices to damage.

You only roll one for each mortal wound because the mortals wounds calculate their damage one at a time, so one find for each damage from the mortal wound, if the mortal wound was two damage, you still need to roll 2 ones because the damage is calculated one by one.
