“In an abandoned facility, due to it being in the middle of a possible previous war zone, a squad of Blood Angels scout the area for any supplies that might be useful for any upcoming war that comes their way. Suddenly their search is interrupted by the sound of footsteps and a foul stench inching closer as they discover the Death Guard and a horde of Daemons of Nurgle lead by the Primarch, Mortarian, that claim the area, and the supplies in it, belong to the Almighty Grandfather. Taking no risks, the Blood Angels open fire as an all out battle ensues as they easily take out the Death Guard’s Karnivore, Rhino, and even wound Mortarian to the point he cannot continue the war for much longer that it seems that the Blood Angels were gonna victorious for the Emperor. “Hah, you fools think this is over!?” Mortarian asks with a smirk hidden well within his face mask. “Did you think I did not come unprepared? My children have only begun to play.” And as Mortarian teleported away from the battlefield as giant earth shaking footsteps can be heard. Now standing before the Blood Angels was a Great Uncleaned One, a powerful demon that closely resembles Nurgle himself, terrified but refusing to back down, the Blood Angels continue to fight the remaining Death Guard units for the Emperor. Despite their efforts, and even destroying the Bloat Drone, the Blood Angels are soon overwhelmed by the Death Guard’s resilience and the Great Uncleaned one’s mighty strength as he throws the Blood Angels’ Repulsor Tank onto the Blood Angels’ Sanguinary Guard, crushing and killing him in an instant, and destroying the tank in the process. Seeing their last hope destroyed, the remaining Blood Angels call for a retreat abandoning the warehouse, as Mortarian returns to watch in his delight while his “children” proceed to collect the supplies the Blood Angels were originally searching for.”

Death Guard are an incredibly tough match-up for Blood Angels, especially in LAF. All your rules want you to get in close, but getting in close means you have some pretty nasty debuffs that make it very difficult to do the damage you need to do. Tak did pretty well to keep it as close as he did!

Ive never struggled that much with taking down morty, or any other primarch. But then, i charge him with my blood angels. Our melee is so much more reliably deadly than any shooting in the sm and divergent chapters codex's.

@PlayOnTabletop it's less about your list building, and more about the cp usage. I mean, when all the players use cp reroll for like half their total CP, it gets kinda old. Been watching to y'all use cp reroll so often, instead of using a good strat before hand that would be much more fun to watch.
