I have fallen in love with this show. Having stared watching only in 2020, there are a just a few episodes of season 12 I have not seen. I watch from the USA in Texas. I can’t get enough of Death In Paradise. ❤

Stuart Lugsden his choice , he just chose to not sign up for this series, if he’d advised them before the end of series 7 I’m sure they would have written an exit story for him.

True. And he did mention he has an idea for a 1 off special or a spin off series, something like that. But he has to speak to the producer about it. If it happens then that would be awsome.

I love this show...it's been a ray of sunshine in an otherwise bleak time and frankly it kept me feeling upbeat through the first weeks of the Covid pandemic. Of course, now the series is over...the blues set in again. Sigh.

@tony lock I know what you mean from what I've read of him he's a bit too similar to Richard Poole. Wears heavy suits in hot weather, has a fear of being in hot sun, too eager to get home and to top all that he has an asthma inhaler. He'll probably only last two series like Ben Miller did.

I miss her, she was perfect for the role, great personality, as was the one before her, the new series is coming along well the cast of characters will grow on me for sure. It is the only ordinary, not serious program on Telly that I actually have a fondness for, a lot of TV these days is utter pap but Death in Paradise is an hour well spent.
