I like to think that this “collapse” is a simple metaphor to describe the current human empire as well as a way to scare the remaining survivors into servitude. That’s how I treat it in my campaigns anyway lol.

I ran this adventure last Sunday. I really like the "this is our ship, but the AI went rogue" approach, I might steal that for a second run 😉

@@VictoryConditionGaming The second group didn't make it much further than the main hall. Nevertheless a really nice session that ended with a violent decompression of the Grasshopper ~4.5 minutes before it went into self destruct. In both my first and second session the first PC to die was named Aiko 🤣

flamethrower seems like the worst and best weapon for this game. it's like the sci-fi version of the wizard who casts fireball in an enclosed space. solves every problem except for the ones it causes. :D

@@VictoryConditionGaming I'm already obsessed with this game, so I'm sure my obsession will only get worse when the physical book arrives. I'm highly tempted to position Cy from Cy-Borg within another star system several bridge jumps away, and combine the two.

I have a question - the game states reputation is everything, but there is no reputation mechanic in the game. Any ideas ?

I just use it as motivation for character actions and behavior.
