If Adam brought in physical death and Jesus reversed that curse, why do all people still physically die? In this video we prove that Jesus saved us from the 'spiritual and/or covenantal death' so that no one ever dies. #universalism #preterism #apokatastasis

I've been on a journey for truth for years. My mind and my heart have been in conflict for a long time. I was raised in a Baptist church and although I do believe Christians mean well, they just don't have it quite right. The way you teach has me in awe. I could listen to you 24/7. The way you parallel and match scripture with scripture is phenomenal! I've never heard anyone teach like you. I am now on a new journey. If what you teach is true and I'm starting to believe it is just from my own research, then how liberating this new journey will be. For years I've been wracking my brain trying for figure it all out because of so many errors and contradictions these denominations refuse to address for people like me who have questions. Your theory or theology totally clears the air and I can see. Thanks for all you do and I hope you will continue to. You have helped me immensely.

This subject is divisive. Jesus said much more about the law to a rich young man (in Matt, Mark) he also said "If you love me obey my commandments. The primary church fathers including Paul and the rest of the disciples kept the Sabbath and the feasts. It wasn't until the tertiary church fathers that they banned the 7th day Sabbath, the feasts, and applied a tax to those who followed it, then ex-communicated the bishops that kept it. All I'm saying here is that demonizing the eternal commandments frightens me. I know not one single person who has kept the law in their heart like Jesus taught when he magnified it unto the THOUGHT LIFE of his audience. I love Paul but get nervous when I read his wonderful diatribe of grace. He conveniently leaves me confused, but when I read Psalm 119 I see that there is much wisdom to be had as if studying Gods law is like looking at the heart of the father. You asked in you teaching the question "How does keeping the Sabbath help you love others?"(I'm I sure thats a paraphrase) But I just obey that appointment out of love for the Father. (I don't think it hurts anyone.) It's funny how it's perfectly okay for people to set apart a day, any day, but if you pick the seventh day, you get called a Judaizer. Jesus did good on the Sabbath, which is lawful, it was the added pharisaical laws that he attacked, heaping burdens on people that they could not bare. Just like many modern religious memberships. They turned God's law and temple into a giant multi-level marketing scheme for filthy lucer. Walking around like rock-stars full of pride, while widows went hungry etc.. I'm not under Gods law HaleluYah, but I love the heart of it and it is precious to me. I see the father in it, and meditate on it as well as you. There is much wisdom in the 613 that are tirsheairy to the 10 and secondary to the 2. Many of which don't make sense post resurrection, but they show something of the metaphysical aspect of the temple and behavior of a set apart people that repeatedly fell into trouble, but by the grace of God, successfully carried the seed of the promised Messiah. Not trying to start a greasy grace fight here. Just sharing a view with a fellow brother. There is a very high probability that I have a totally misplaced affection for the pure logic and perfection of the decologue. I'm 66 years old, so it will be likely be over soon for me. I'm so glad to find you channel and love the Revelation to Gospel symbolic connections. Outstanding IMHO. Shalom To You 70x7!!!

Consider that Paul says even those without the law are a law unto themselves. It seems to me that Jesus fulfilled the law, and those who are in Christ have fulfilled the law throu his righteousness, but those outside of Christ are still judged. That's why it says there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Those who do not believe are condemned already because they have not believed.

Thank You for sharing your point of view. That said, I would suggest that 'being in Christ' is not simply 'believing in Christ'. 1st John 2:6 explains what 'being in Christ actually is': He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. Lots of folks claim they 'believe' but don't walk they way Christ walked... John further explains in verse 9: He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now. Plenty of people claim they 'believe' but are in huge amounts of darkness... And John further explains in verse 10: He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him. 'Abiding in the light' is 'loving Your Brother'... Not simply making a 'belief statement'. And even Apostle Paul says in Romans 13:8 - for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. If someone is not loving their Brother...They are not 'in Christ'. All will appear before the judgment seat of Christ. That includes You and Me. Paul said so in 2nd Corinthians 5:10. Thanks again for sharing!

Amen!!! Originally, before I came to accept Full Preterism, many of these things you present here were precursors to the transition. Once I realized that the Atonement was universal (not just theoretically but actually) and that peace was made with all things ( not just some things) through the Cross, it really seemed to me that a grandiose change took place in AD30 with respect to God and humanity. Another big passage for me was Hebrews 9:15, where it seems to me to be teaching that the Atonement was only about the sins committed under the Old Covenant. But this means that with respect to you and I (who have 0 sins recorded in the OC), the Atonement wasn't about Sin. Rather we were born into the New Covenant with a clean slate, with the law of Moses 1900+ years removed from the world. This is drastic implications on all of our theology (that no one teaches in church) and just so happened to fit perfectly with Full Preterism. Thanks for this wonderful video!

Shade I am still going thru all your stuff, so thank U for all i have learned from U and 4 making me dig deep on some of these subjects. First, I assume that U R saying here that everyone will B judged on how they feel and what they do and no one goes to the everlasting lake of fire. If that is the case I disagree . If so why do we read, study , preach and why should we care other than gaining a better status in heaven ? I will wait to hear from U B4 I continue . Thx.
@ShadeStoneMusic
@ShadeStoneMusic Ай бұрын
Great questions. So first, The scriptures say all will be judged 'according to their works', not 'how they feel'. Also, I would not assume that everyone gets 'heaven' as in 'living next door to Jesus and Peter'. The Scriptures speak of many heavens and locations outside as well. And when we say 'status' in heaven...Do you not want a 'better position'? 1st Corinthians 3 speaks of 'rewards'; what are the 'rewards for'? Why do the lousy works get burned off? Why do the apostles tell us to do 'good works' if there is no point to those works if it's a communist heaven? What does it mean to 'reap what you sow'? I have a video called 'The Lake of Fire Ended in 70AD'...it may help in understanding why I don't see the lake of fire as an obliteration/torture chamber. In Luke 6:35 Jesus says that God is kind to the evil and the unthankful. How do we reconcile that with a torture/death chamber? Some things to consider.

Shade, thank you for your message, the way you explain the scriptures, parallel and match scripture with scripture. I have a question for you. Do you think we should use some of the Law of sin and death (the 10 commandments), “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not bear false witness, “You shall not covet,” to bring the knowledge of sin, before we preach the gospel of grace message to people?
@ShadeStoneMusic
@ShadeStoneMusic 2 ай бұрын
Thank You for the kind words! Excellent question by the way. This is that point where I would suggest that all should go by how the spirit leads them. There may be times where You may be moved to lead with the Law of 'love others as yourself'...Which you clearly listed above, and is listed in Romans 13:8-10. Other times, we may be moved to focus on God's grace sensing that it is God's grace that will move people to love others as themselves. The Spirit moved Philip to speak to the Ethiopian in Acts Chapter 8; He followed that lead and the results were fantastic. I can't help but think the same can happen if we imitate that example.

It's cool to see how this topic is expanding into other interesting fields. Here's another question. What's the purpose of creating flesh & blood humans & animals, trees, vegetation, water life, all with an intricate beauty if its own...what's the reason if ultimately all humans will be spiritual in nature & bodily makeup? Is earth a parenthetical interlude or is there an eternal purpose for it? When unbelievers die are they immediately resurrected into a spiritual body albeit with a lesser glory than believers? Are they serving out their judgement somewhere in the celestial realm? Is the earth eventually gonna be phased out or will it remain this dark place of evil & misery forever? How would that jive with God's will being done on earth as it is in heaven? It looks like the answers come with more questions. A real rabbit hole. Certainly a lot to keep busy with for us truthseekers.

This is a good and reasonable observation. Best as I know, the earliest church father writings we have was from Clement; and interestingly enough, he was a 'Christian Universalist'. I haven't studied his work much, but in my general knowledge, he didn't speak much of the return of Christ. He focused a lot on brotherly love. Much like the apostle John in his epistles. I would also add one thing as well...and I don't want this to come off as pompous. I respect the early believers. That said...we do have 2000 years of hindsight that they simply didn't have. So, isn't it possible that they had the eschatology wrong? There are lots of things that the early church did, that we clearly don't do anymore. There are things that the early church believed, that today's church no longer believes. The Protestants clearly demonstrated this in the time of the 'reformation'. They broke away from many of the original Catholic Church traditions and operations and teachings. So maybe this is just another subject that needs to be reviewed and re-examined.

It's hard to say...There are so many different testimonies from different walks of life...I can't say that I see any consistent message. That said, I do wonder if it's people's own conscience that is making them feel a 'tormenting experience'. Much like the Rich Man in the parable. We should also note that, the folks that have this experience, do 'get out'...I'm not saying this in any snarky tone; ultimately, if they truly 'deserved hell' then why the second chance? Who let them out? Who gave them mercy? So they don't end up staying there. Interestingly enough...they come back here. There is something to think about!

Beautifully done. I do however have a question. God told Adam he would die if he disobeyed. Now if Adam had been obedient, would he have still died physically? If so, what was the point of creating him in the first place? Now Christ is the second Adam. He succeeded where Adam failed. Christ was obedient. But He had to physically die as a sacrifice to pay for Adam's sin for which Adam's death was spiritual only? I'm kinda confused here. Could it be that Adam's death was both spiritual & later on physical? Christ lost His physical life but never did He spiritually die. Adam suffered both deaths. I'm trying to make sense of this. Here's what I've been understanding...and maybe I've been wrong. I'm thinking that if Adam didn't disobey, he would have neither died spiritually nor physically. But as we all know, that's not how the story played out. The way I have been understanding it is that because of Adam's sin, he was sentenced to mortality and thus everyone else came into this world as mortals. Meaning we are physically dying till the day its consummated. Being mortal we are weak. We can't help but sin in this condition ... without God intervening as He did in sending His Son & granting His Spirit. So in Adam's fallen mortal nature we die. But in Christ being infused with His nature we live. And ultimately not in a flesh & blood type of body but a spiritual but nevertheless real body as well. Another interesting topic. Thanks bro!

Great Question and Insight Bro! The Physical Death is something I am still wrestling with as well; was that death ordained from the beginning since everything had it's own seed to reproduce from the beginning? Or was the physical death also a result of the disobedience? If so, why did Adam continue to live physically? He didn't die immediately physically; that took quite some time; that we no for sure; but the covenantal death we know happened immediately. More great material to ponder and consider! Thanks again Bro!

I we need to consider that fact there was a tree of life. If Adam was immortal the why was there a tree of life? When he God removed Adam from the garden he said he put him out of the so that he would not eat of the tree of life and live forever. It seems that Adam had not eaten from the tree. Other wise he would have lived forever. I wonder if the tree was metamorphic for being in the presence of God. In the new Jerusalem there is a tree of life again. I don’t have this all figured out myself, but I do believe death was a part of the original creation. Adam was created outside the garden and placed in the garden. I think that maybe Adam would have died biological, but would have never been separated from God. Clearly Christ didn’t die to overcome biological death. Just some thoughts.

Looks like other ppl lived outside of the garden. Adam had a special job. He sinned. He then was kicked out of the garden. Could be that Adam wasn't the 1st human created but a special creation with a specific job which he failed to do but which Christ came and fixed. Is there another bullet hole fired into the orthodox box?

I spent nearly 50 years trying to please people so hopefully I won't be judged for the hermit years after all hopefully God is aware of the emotional & mental pain we endure at the hands of others. I was hoping for a rapture but of course that won't happen till death now so that's another disappointment! Kind regards & please keep teaching!

Indeed, sometimes we have to retreat. I recall several Scriptures where it appears that Jesus goes to be by Himself. Makes total sense to me! I also recall this Scripture: 'For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.' That is Hebrews 4:15-16. Colossians 3:25 - 'But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.' That last line makes it clear that God doesn't show favoritism. Yes. It is true. Early interpreters caught on to Paul's 'allegorical' understanding of Scripture. (Galatians 4 for example); So many of them saw much of the Old Testament Scriptures with some basic literal truth but a deeper allegorical communication underneath that was the main intent. Many still see it that way. I lean towards it myself. Essentially a dual layered understanding of Scriptures. A 'keep it simple/literal' understanding on the surface, but an allegorical interpretation that puts Christ at the center of the writings so that when Christ came, the 'mystery' of Scripture would be revealed.

Hello brother, I have a question and one I've been wrestling with for some time. If sin is not imputed where there is no law and the law of Moses didn’t come until much later in the story, how do we reconcile it with the fact that death reigned from Adam to Moses. If individuals before the Mossic law were never under the law, had no sins imputed to them and by implication were never subject to the sting of death (which is the law), shouldn't they be free from said spiritual death, for where there's no law there's no transgression. Following this train of thought what about those gentiles who were never under the law, which is pretty much everyone else apart from the nation of Israel - were they never spiritually dead, for without the law there is no revival of sin and by implication they should've still been spiritually alive. But if spiritual death reigned even before the law, was the law necessary so it would show us the futility of our fallen flesh and dead nature but in itself didn't actually cause spiritual death, idea which in itself contradicts pretty much all the law relating verses 😂 Upon thinking about this further I supposed that perhaps sin is like a contagion, which put to death our very spiritual essence and through Adam spread to all but even so how could then Christ die for the sins of those who technically never committed them, as those prior to the coming of Mossic law. And here I fall back into the viciously confused loop cycle, help 😂
@ShadeStoneMusic
@ShadeStoneMusic 5 ай бұрын
Excellent commentary! Very challenging indeed. I would suggest that there was a 'covenant' broken with Adam. So Yes, Spiritual death started and reigned because of the broken covenant with Adam; the law of Moses could not reverse that Spiritual death and therefore that Spiritual death simply continued from Adam to Moses. But the imputation of sin did not begin until Moses/The Law. So in short...Spiritual Death from Adam to Moses; ended at Moses; No more Spiritual death; But the imputation of sin started at Moses. Imputation of sin did not end. However, since Jesus fulfilled the Law & Prophets ushering in the New Covenant the imputation of sin is according to the Law of Christ (not the law of Moses) which is of course, the law of love.

@@ShadeStoneMusic Thank you for your response Shade. I suppose we could look at it as an hourglass working, with a wider scope we can see that all were spiritually fallen from the time of Adam but didn't really know or understood that fact. Narrowing it down a bit God then chooses a nation for himself to whom through Moses He gives the law, which shows Israel (and now us) just how dire their spiritual situation was and that they truly were in a place of separation from their Heavenly Father. Further still, that funnel point finds it's culmination in Christ Jesus, who fulfilling the law - which even though given on the tablets of stone specifically to Israel was in a broader sense spiritual and hence universal - makes us alive in Him and through His sacrificial death pushes us through that narrow hourglass point of separation right out into the greater space of relational union with God. Which I suppose accounts for that whole predestination debacle - some groups and peoples were chosen for certain purposes with an ultimate goal of blessing ALL in Christ 😄

One thing to add, which seems to be in several places in the bible which speaks of confessions, and its my understanding, that if a person confesses thier sins then on judgement day, that sin is not brought back up to be judged, since each person will be rewarded or punished according to what they of done in thier body on judgement day, then the bad sins that have been confessed will be covered and not brought up such as in psalms 32, Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered. 2 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not [b]impute iniquity, And in whose spirit there is no deceit. So it's my belief that all sins that are confessed, are in fact forgiven and covered, so those sins will not be brought up, during judgement day, so if a person confesses all sins, then only good things will be judged on judgement day. 😎👍🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊

I can see that as a possibility. Of course, the 'confession' would have to be genuine I would assume...with a genuine repentance. I also do wonder also, if it depends on how grievous the sin is and how much of a 'ripple effect' it had on others. There is a 'sin unto death'...and sin 'not unto death'. Just some thoughts that I have; it helps to keep me in line! Thank You for sharing this commentary.

Fair question. I think they (like us) will be judged and positioned accordingly. 1st Timothy 4:10 says 'God is the Savior of "all men"...so I take that as it is stated...and then goes on to say 'especially those that believe'...not specifically..."especially"...so believers have an advantage...I would suggest as believers our judgement 'should' go better. And maybe that is why Jesus talks about 'outer darkness' and 'debtors prisons' where people eventually get out and things of that nature. After all, the Scriptures say "His mercy endures forever'...and Jesus said that God is 'kind to the evil and the unthankful'. So I work all of that into my understanding of Scripture.

Excellent video 👏🏽👏🏽 To add my own thoughts to this greatly articulated video… Since 70 AD, ALL are saved automatically. (What people call universalism). We know that ALL slept in the grave til the resurrection at the last day (of the old covenant age). And then those in faith were spiritually risen and entered the kingdom and life. And those without faith were annihilated (the 2nd death) as there is no biblical support for eternal conscious torment (which I believed all my life up til last year). God is an all consuming fire and the lake of fire is symbolic for being consumed. For you to never cease ever again. But back to my point, what does Paul say is the last enemy to be destroyed??? Death! (Spiritual). We know it’s spiritual as of course we both know sin & death was tied to the law. The covenant with death. And even in the garden it was told to Adam in the day that he eat ye shall surely die. And obviously he never physically died that day. As was therefore talking of spiritual death. So if Jesus defeated death at the last day, and death was swallowed up in victory, and death and hell was cast into the symbolic lake of fire at the end end of the old covenant age then….. ….how can there be ANY spiritual death since and now!??? It’s gone. Defeated. Swallowed up in victory. 1 Timothy 2 says God will have *all* men to be saved. 1 Timothy 4 says God is the saviour of *all* men, specially those that believe. 1 Cor 15:26 said the last enemy to be destroyed was death. 1 Cor 15:54-55 says death was swallowed up in victory. O death where is thy sting? O grave where is thy victory? Romans 6:23 says the wages of sin is death. But sin was defeated and the law fulfilled. Sins forgiven. Death destroyed and swallowed up in victory. It simply doesn’t say ‘death for those without faith is defeated’. It said death was destroyed. If there is no longer spiritual death, there is no more separation from God. In Christ shall ALL be made alive. Because in Adam all died. Christ reconciled us all back to God it appears. People outside of God’s covenant died. Nobody chose to be under or in Adam. Yet they inherited the curse anyway. But in Christ ALL shall be made alive. They inherited His gift anyway. It says death was destroyed. Not those in the new covenant’s death was destroyed. It says death was swallowed up in victory. Not those in the new covenant’s death was swallowed up in victory. We CANNOT say that dispensationalists twist scripture if we ourselves also do so. Example time statements of the first century were crystal clear about events that would soon occur. They twist and magically insert a multiple thousand year gap. It’s crystal clear. About to be. Soon come to pass. In these last days. At the door. At hand etc. And the same goes for this, it’s crystal clear: DEATH WAS SWALLOWED UP IN VICTORY AHD WAS DESTROYED. 1 Timothy 4:10 For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, *who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.* 1 Corinthians 15:22 *For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.* Again nobody chose to inherit Adam’s curse. But in him we all received the curse anyway. Same as with Christ. In Him He made all alive. 70 AD after the judgment of old covenant Israel and the old world, in this new world there is no spiritual death. Death and the grave was cast into the lake of fire. Therefore it no longer exists. IT IS CRYSTAL CLEAR. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes and there shall be *no more death.* Romans 5:18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

With the measure you judge it will be measured back to you. If there is a severe judgement of eternal punishment then Christians who judge others with this judgement will be judged with their own judgement. I also suggest the love of God is not in you if you want to see people punished eternally for sins. God sent Jesus for the very purpose of forgiving all our sins. Jesus said I desire mercy not sacrifice. Mercy triumphs over judgement. If 10 people are stuck in a burning building and a fireman saves all 10 people are you going to say “what was the point in saving any of them if everyone was going to be saved?”

These are great questions! So first, let's look at 1st Timothy 4:10 - Paul says: God is the Savior of all men...especially those that believe. Paul also says that certain folks will not inherit the Kingdom of God. So does everyone go 'to the same spot' and get the 'same reward'? I don't think so... But...If God is the Savior of all men...what do we do with that? I come to pictures and scenarios in Scripture that suggest a 'debtors prison' that eventually they get released from and 'outer darkness' and the 'outer courts of the temple and certain people were not allowed in to certain places in Scripture. These are things, along with other Scriptures that convince me that Positionally, people are put further away in less desirable spots. 1st Corinthians 3 for example points to this idea as well.

Thanks for the great question! The translations use 'judgement' (which is fine), but most say: 'and shall not come into condemnation;' Which means they won't be 'punished under a divine judgement'. I think that Jesus is referring to the Roman/Jewish war that came upon Israel in the First Century and that they wouldn't experience that 'condemnation' (which was a divine judgement) if they believed Him and listened to Him. That was the earthly judgement He was referring to. The Judgement seat of Christ is different in my opinion because it is the heavenly judgement. According to Romans 8:1, there is no condemnation for believers. We are inseparably united with Christ. We have been made His righteousness in Him. Also, I believe that judgment was made at Christ's Parousia at which time the final destiny of both the just and the unjust was instituted. No more would any go to Hades to await it. Since that time, at death, those in Christ go immediately into Christ's presence and those not in Christ are forever cast out. There is no longer a "time" of judgment. God has separated the wheat from the tares. However, according to 2 Corinthians 5:10, there seems to be a giving of or a loss of rewards for what the believer did in his earthly life. What those rewards or losses are, I have no clue. I don't think, technically, that anyone faces judgment any longer. Judgment has already been made and at death all will experience the destiny Christ brought at His coming--eternal life with Him or eternal separation. Are we saying the same thing? I hope I didn't misunderstand your question.

Jesus was giving a law based answer to a pharisee who sought to justify himself with the Law. Jesus then goes ahead and tells the parable of the Samaritan (whom the jews hated with a passion) This was to show that they weren't really keeping the love thy neighbor. It's context is towards the Jews We are given a new commandment by Jesus, to love one another. Paul Himself says the Law of Christ is fulfilled by loving one another! Thank You for commenting! As for Acts 21... Verse 25 confirms that the gentiles were told not to keep the law of Moses. So the accusation it seems is that Paul is teaching 'the Jews' (that are among the Gentiles) to depart from the law of Moses...that is in verse 21. Back it up to verse 20, and it seems that one of the elders tells Paul that there are lots of Jews that believe Jesus is Messiah, but they are still very zealous of the law. So best as I can tell, they seem to be telling Paul to do this 'purification' to try to keep the peace with them so as to not start a bigger problem. By the time you get to verse 27 they are attacking Paul. Why are they attacking him if he is keeping the law? It would seem to me that they know he is not, and he is teaching the Gentiles to do otherwise and live according to the law of love. That is how I see that section.

John 11:25 - 'though he were dead, yet shall he live'. It was this theme above that I was discussing in the video... So yes, physical death still exists... Sorry you didn't stick around to hear more... But I'm thankful for you taking the time to comment... Grace & Peace.

Hey brother. I compleatly agree... but (the proverbial butt right) no realy not a criticism just an observation... wouldn't you say we are to love as Yeshua lived us and not "live your neighbor as yoursel". The reason Icsayvthat is because that is identified by Yeshua himself as a new commandment. Just a thought. Loving neighbor as self is earth and man based. Loveing as Yeshua loved was not based on earthly things but based on jiw YAHAVAH lived us. So basically, we are to love others as YAHAVAH himself lives them. Just My2Cents brother. Thanks

Youch! So much erroneous logic! The OBVIOUS AND EXPLICIT reason Paul points out that death reigned from Adam to Moses is to note that death reigned EVEN apart from the giving of the mosaic law. - NOT that some kind of spiritualized death ceased with Moses, nor to signify any other kind of change vis-a-vis death and Moses. Oy!! 😣🔨

His point was a bit hard to follow here. I think what he meant by showing this part was that sin and death still took place during that time even though there was no law. Similarly, even though the New Covenant has done away with the law, we should not think that sin and death have completely gone away. They still take place but are not being counted.

Once you've been infected by the lie of Preterism, your mind is warped. You think you've found a new truth, but it is a lie. Scripture explains that death was defeated at the cross because the Law was defeated, and yet death remains until the resurrection. Therefore, spiritual death leads to physical death. For those who are still under spiritual death (the Law), death remains, but for those who are "under grace" spiritual death no longer remains and "even though one dies, yet shall they live" (John 11:25). Jesus promised Martha life after physical death, meaning the physical body would be raised. It is the same body, yet not the same (and this is what non-Greek reading believers miss). In other words, the body that is raised is the self-same body, but it is transformed (and so, it is different). As far as being under the Law is concerned, Paul was not "under the Law" (1 Corinthians 9:20). Why? Because he was "under grace." That was BEFORE 70 AD. The passing of the Law has NOTHING to do with the destruction of the Temple. It has everything to do with our relationship with Jesus Christ and what took place at the cross. Galatians 3:23 says that before faith came, we were "under the Law" imprisoned until the coming (mello) faith would be revealed. Does this mean that the "coming faith" was not revealed until 70 AD? Absolutely not! But that is how Preterists treat the word "mello." When did faith come? At the time of Jesus Christ's revealing (His life, ministry, death and resurrection). From that point on, the Law of Moses was DEAD! See: Romans 7:1-4: "Or do you not know, brothers-for I am speaking to those who know the law-that the law is binding on a person only as long as he lives? For a married woman is bound by law to her husband while he lives, but if her husband dies she is released from the law of marriage. Accordingly, she will be called an adulteress if she lives with another man while her husband is alive. But if her husband dies, she is free from that law, and if she marries another man she is not an adulteress." What is the first husband? The Law. When the first husband dies, we are dead to the Law. That took place at the cross, NOT in 70 AD. You, Slade, have correctly said that the power of sin is the Law and the sting of sin is death (1 Corinthians 15:54), but you forget (intentionally or not) that "the power (katargeō καταργέω G2673) of death, which is the power of the devil" was broken at the cross (Hebrews 2:14). Notice HOW the power of death was destroyed. It was NOT destroyed by His Parousia and. the resurrection in this passage as it is in 1 Corinthians 15:26, 54). This is the inauguration of the death of death! It is the destruction ((katargeō καταργέω G2673).of "the power of death," which is the Law and which the devil used to accuse the brethren and condemn them, but no longer (Romans 8:1; Revelation 12:7-10). NO! This power of sin was broken "THROUGH DEATH" (Hebrews 2:14). That is, the death of Jesus Christ on the cross (Ephesians 2:16; Colossians 1:22; Romans 5:10). Jesus "abolished death and brought immortality to light through the Gospel," which is the good news of the cross (1 Corinthians 1:17-25). Therefore, we boast in the cross (Galatians 6:14) and not in the foolishness of Preterism (that is, the wisdom of men). Preterists only want to focus on the consummation of all things, which they falsely believe took place in 70 AD). They do not understand the inauguration. They do not understand the consummation. They only want to focus on 70 AD, which is simply a transition of focus from the nation of Israel to the nations. By doing so, they loose their focus (if they ever had any) on the cross. They believe their was a change in ages in 70 AD, when in reality the age (the age of the Messiah) began with the birth of Jesus Christ and the change in covenants took place at the cross. Everything I have said is absolutely proven by the Scriptures.

1st Timothy 4:10 - God is the Savior of all men; especially those that believe. So 'all men' means 'all' in my world. If you want to alter that, then it would be you tampering with the text.

Yes indeed...but what is the rest of that line? 'he cannot see the kingdom of God.' Notice Jesus doesn't say, 'and is tossed into hell forever'? There is a difference between those who 'inherit the Kingdom of God', and those 'who don't'. But I would suggest that You contemplate 1st Timothy 4:10 - ...we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe. Notice that it says 'all men'...then 'especially those that believe'. Perhaps this is something we should consider strongly. Thanks again!

Another false teaching, from a preterist. We are promised eternal life. That is the promise that's why Christ was resurrected from the grave after 3 days. That's why Christ raised Lazarus from the grave, to show us that he had the power to raise us from the dead. So we are promised eternal life. So this death in this flesh will only happen once you don't want the second death. Where hell in the grave are thrown into the lake of fire that burns for eternity, it doesn't not cease to exist

Thank You for commenting. i suggest that you consider Jesus says 'God is kind to the evil and the unthankful'; and Scriptures say that God delights in His mercy...and His mercy endures forever. It doesn't appear that your theology reconciles those passages.

@@ShadeStoneMusic well let me ask you a question, was 70 AD the worst time in history or the worst war or persecution in history that ever was or ever will be. Because world war II killed six times as many Jews or so-called Jews cuz I don't believe the Jewish bloodline is 100% after 70 AD. That his promise was given to all the rest of the world and the church is being built, each one of us are a stone of the temple of God. We are the body of Christ we are the temple. So how could Jesus come back and destroy the Antichrist which you guys see as Nero, in the Bible says that he destroys the Antichrist or this man of sin with the brightness of his coming but Nero committed suicide

@@ShadeStoneMusic do you know who the Jesuits are? Do you know who the founder of preterism is and why preterism was created? Because the Protestant reformers saw that the Roman Catholic Church the Pope or the position of Pope was the seat of Antichrist, and to take the identification of the Antichrist being the pope out of the picture, they formed several doctrines the rapture, futurist designers dispensationalism, Francisco Ribera, the rapture was created by Jesuit name Manuel lacunza and I have his book. Preterism was created by Luis d Alcazar a Spanish Jesuit. The whole purpose of the Jesuits is to destroy the Protestant Church to mix false religion into their doctrines and cause discord among the church, among the body of Christ which you see right now. I come against false doctrine not against the people because I'm not certain if maybe you're working with the Jesuit sense how KZbin is being used by the powers to be to get out false doctrines and false word and false propaganda, or that you actually believe it and may even have a sincere heart and this is what you believe but you're teaching falsely because preterism was not a doctrine that was taught before the 1700s. None of the church fathers or nor the historians thought that Jesus returned matter of fact they were still writing about him coming at the end of the 6,000th year not the 4000th

@@ShadeStoneMusic and how do you say that death does not exist, cuz you're going to die one day I'm going to die one day unless the Lord comes back and those who are left and still alive at the coming of the Lord, will not proceed those which are asleep. No this is not the rapture this is a verse they leave out. This is the second coming where he comes with a shout of the archangel in the Trump of God, meaning when a king comes into presence, there is a trumpet that is blown announcing the coming of the king and the people go out and meet the king and escort him back. The wicked are removed from the Earth, you can read this in the parable of the vineyard Matthew 13. The parable of the fish in Matthew 13. The parable of the husbandman in Matthew 21. Specifically states that he will take those wicked men buy them up and throw them in the lake of fire and he will gather his wheat into the barn. At the end of the world. That phrase at the end of the world is used many times in these parables. And before you even say anything about the word age, the age of Aries the RAM switched over in 68 BC to the age of Pisces which we're still in so the end of the age nor the end of the world has happened yet
