I never realized that! Wow, this just shows, stories that take place in "modern" times are inevitably going to become more "historical" settings, and now sooner than ever because technology is evolving so much faster than anyone could've imagined. Seriously, it's been two decades (I think the Death Note manga was published around 2004) and it's already dated because of that tiny aspect with social media. Two decades wouldn't have brought that much of a change in the 1900s, at least in its first half.

You guys should react to oregairu. It is one of the best romance LNs/Anime that exist and I think you would really like it. There is only one good reaction of it out there so far and I would be really like your take on it.
