Why there was no mention of the CIA involvement in the 1973 military coup ousting the democratically elected Allende govt, after which the brutal fascist General Pinochet ruled Chili for decades! However, that wasn't the first time time the USA meddled in Chili's affairs, which in fact goes back to when the Americans assisted the Chilean rebels fight the Spanish during the War of Chilean Independence (1812-1826). One of the CIA's latest efforts to topple a government has been in Venezuela which has had trade embargoes placed on it by the USA, obviously in an attempt to steal their large oil-reserves!
@pancakelens753 жыл бұрын
What the hell interest does the current administration have in “stealing oil reserves.”They cut off the keystone pipeline while simultaneously green-lighting the Russian Nord-2🤣The ONLY reason this idiot president (even WORSE than the last one) is begging OPEC for oil is so that him and his elitist friends will be able to enjoy THEIR gas powered cars and THEIR gas powered yachts and traverse the earth in THEIR carbon BELLOWING private jets whenever the hell they want while they force their dogmatic climate religion on the lowly plebs. And yes, I absolutely believe climate change is a real issue, but I can ASSURE you that has NOTHING to do with the deliberate inflationary catastrophe this current government has cruelty incurred on the average American. Power power POWER at the little guys expense. Take that to the bank. Oh, and for whatever past underhanded, insidious tactics the US government has gotten their hands dirty in while meddling in the affairs of Venezuela, ultimately who is to blame for the current disastrous state the poor people of that country are in? MADURO and his evil predecessor. Period.

Between the year '75 and '76 Saigon was seized, the regime of Francisco Franco in Spain ends and in Argentina an army of a left wing takes over power. The Us was in a paranoidal general status because of its weak political stance. Orlando Letelier a diplomat known for being an active conspiracist against capitalism and the US had assigned a political visit to Washington that was actually denied when his visa was not approved by the authorities in charge. Letelier then paid someone to fix a fake passport and visa and then traveled to washington. The car that was given to him by the local security had installed a remote hearing device and explosives attached in the area below the driving wheel and above the gas pedal. It was not enough to have the diplomat just sitting in the car to carry on with the antiterrorist killing, they had to have some type of recordings or evidence prior to the explosion to actually allow the event to be executed.
