@Kim-mz8co2 жыл бұрын
She led them right to the bomber in a message left the day after the bomb was found yet they didn't listen to it for another month. Hope she got the reward, but somehow I doubt it. Would make the FBI look bad that they had the van and the bomber and walked away. Didn't even check the van. Some pretty poor "investigating."
@Kim-mz8co2 жыл бұрын
I hope they gave $250,000 of the reward to the woman who gave them the description of the van and license plate number the day after it happened. Just because they didn't monitor the 800 number they set up and got her message a month later and then be too stupid in their "investigation" when they had the right guy the first time from her lead isn't her fault. Actually, if they would have listened to her message, they probably wouldn't have had to blow up the casino/hotel. They would have had their man already.

They said they would "TRY" to catch him - which is to say they were asking for the money without any kind of guarantee that they would actually be able to catch the perpetrator and that they wouldn't basically risk losing the money for nothing if he managed to take the money and get away clean during the attempted arrest. Meanwhile, the casino was probably fully insured (maybe even over-insured), so even if it was destroyed, he wouldn't really be losing anything on that end and may even come out better than before with the ability to demo the remains of the old place and rebuild it larger, more modern, and better than before.
