It is sad that after watching cricket for 30+ years there are only 12 test playing nations. Test cricket is dead as well as ODI. Cricket was never promoted to begin with. If ODI and Test cricket were promoted the way they did with T20, cricket would have been as big as soccer today or even bigger. Good video guys. Thanks!

Back when Imran was betting on the games and tampering with the balls ( cricket mostly...and his own in the spare time) Back when Cricket stadiums were built in the name of foreign dictators? Yeah....those were wonderful times indeed!

the problem in india is that no one, including the Judiciary, understands the concept of Conflict of Interest. Everyone only knows 'you scratch my back, i scratch yours'. It happens in everyday life. Cricket is a mere extension of this malaise.

It's funny how these guys- even though they knew it's Srinivasan and his BCCI lackeys- were still holding back on the BCCI for maybe fear of being called racist? Everytime they were calling them out they made sure they called out the three boards and the men running them rather than calling the BCCI mostly, cos let's be honest, they ruined the game and England and Aus just followed uit cos they were receiving the bigger piece of the pie. Please call the BCCI out. They deserve every piece of criticism and most of it is warranted. They've killed the sport for their own personal interests and it just feels "plasticy" now, for lack of a better word. Thanks for doing this.

Shashank Manohar has already started reversing the big 3 changes in ICC after he personally in an interview to the hindu referred it as bullying by a few countries. This only happened after the change in leadership in bcci forced by the supreme court who called the bcci not changing it's leadership as nauseating. The man in charge then along with the one in charge of ecb & ca led all the change that has resulted in drastic economic crisis in nearly all the rest of the Cricket world except big3. Which is why this film along with many other things like SC case in India & parliament committee in UK calling the then ecb boss for answers has caused some changes. Since you're too stupid to read news before you make comments you'd not know.

Have to admit there is no context or any reason to follow Cricket (including Test Cricket)..there is nothing at stake while watching Cricket. I was crazy cricket fan of 90s, but now I prefer watching european football which is organised and has context to every match. Australian cricket board's refusal to go to Bangladesh clearly indicate they don't see financial value playing in Bangladesh, and in future, series will be played only to satisfy the bank balance of the respective boards.

Though, cricket is being watched globally and is the second biggest sport but the quality in the cricket's highest committee "ICC" is the least. what kind of committee is this, which involve only 3 nations regardless, cricket is being played in more than 80 countries. Meanwhile, when other sports are expanding their roots beyond their limited aspects, cricket on the other hand, is shrinking. when emerging countries like Ireland, Afghanistan, Netherland and so on putting their hard work to achieve the pinnacle of world cricket and desperate to get test playing status these "ICC TRIO" are defacing cricket's image across the globe. The only vision "ICC TRIO" has, is no vision (except money making).......

The power of, and the corruption and greed within Indian Cricket is ruining the game In April 2017, the ICC board voted 13-1 in favour of India being allocated £ 227 million. The BCCI ( Board of Control for Cricket in India )decides it’s not enough and threatens to boycott the Champions Trophy and also threatens legal action. Suddenly in June 2017 the allocation that Indian cricket gets goes up to £319 million. England was allocated £110 whilst South Africa, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, New Zealand and West Indies received £ 101 million.

Big deal, You realize the moment you say Cricket is a game of billion people it Automatically refers to the Indian Population, without India playing cricket there are no takers for cricket, infact India is the one that kept this withering game alive, who else plays cricket in this world?Small countries who have neither the money, nor the infrastructure to host such big games..IPL is our local T20 tournament, why is your Butthurt over it, if you cannot make money out of your cricket boards who is to be blamed for it? IPL is supported by a Billion plus people and therefore the revenues gained from advertising, promotions are huge.Don't blame the player. All this butt hurt is coming from so called small countries, 100+ nations play cricket? REALLY? it would make 100+ countries if you considered a gulli cricket team and consider that nation as playing cricket. If you can't make money out of your own domestic and International games, don't blame the Big Three it is your fault you can't make money.Commercialization will happen, that is the idea of Capitalism unless you want to live on Charity and play Charity games. This the future of Cricket.Whether you like it or not,it is going to stay that way,You are worried about marketing Test cricket between three nations? Well who is stopping you from marketing yours? You realize nobody watches your games not even your own countrymen..All those 100+ countries put together don't count for the number of viewers for cricket when you take into Account the Three Nations India,England,Australia..So quit Whining!

+Aravind Sai Clearly you relish the shut up and like it approach to democracy. If they don't respond to well, then i say they have old problems,Pakistan is our Enemy Country, we had 5 Wars with them and continue in Low Intensity war with them everyday since the past 68 years Inception of Pakistan(We are in a constant state of war with Pakistan,Why should i make them my best friends, when their Administration wants to commit Genocide of Hindus and make our country Islamic? That is their chapter in Islam,They made all countries Islamic they conquered, but not US). Sri Lanka Politicians are Butt hurt that's all.We have Sri Lankan players playing in all our Matches and IPL. Who stopped them? If you think, You can bring in other cricketing Nations, they mean nothing to us domestic consumers, REMEMBER" DEMAND AND SUPPLY" we are 1/3rd of Human Population around the Earth(That itself is a Huge Market, unless you are very painfully naive). When you can gather up such Demand? The Supply will come from all Places.Until then quit your MOANING AND WHINING. You are nowhere on the Demand scale Buddy! ;) Let me Remind you, 70% of the younger Indian/Bharatiya Population you mentioned are in favor against Pakistan. Not Sri Lanka.

+Aravind Sai ICC, not Islam Hindu, punjab or anything else - I'm meant sport, not war. 9 of Englands 68 former colonial possessions play cricket, 3 teams operate at a profit but all 10 are dysfunctional - from the video " cricket is shrinking as a spectator sport " enjoy.................... while you're winning.

Exactly! Are you a Socialist? who believes i have to give hard earned money free? That can be done for other countries, but why should i pay a penny to Pakistan? Who waged 5 major wars and indulges in low Intensity war against India since past 68 years of our Independence.Just give me a reason why should i? The money and revenue Pakistan earns from single India -Pakistan series is worth for Pakistan Cricket board earning of 4 years. They are dying because they cannot control the security situation at their home, you saw what happened to Sri Lankan team visiting them in 2009.Their Sham Democracy is at the mercy of its Army who is incharge of the Pakistan. Why should we Indians fund their Cricket board where our money goes back to purchasing weapons and training Islamic Terrorists against us INDIA? we will play with any other country, but don't think of us as fools we will always remember 26/11 and what Pakistan did. All these issues were raised by Pakistan with their paid lobbies(I suspect you too to be part of that lobby and your MP having a substantial Pakistani Vote bank, back in UK)They thought they can muffle and subdue us with their closeness to USA.Now that Western world sees exactly what we went through. They should be ashamed of supporting a Terrorist supplier like Pakistan.Ohh if you think we don't know how the game works. We know."When you are rich you are gonna be my bitch! We Indians just adopted your present Policies.NO GAMES OR ART OR WHATEVER EXCHANGES WITH PAKISTAN UNTIL THEY STOP SENDING TERRORISTS INTO MY COUNTRY!That's it! Btw, Football and a whole lot of sports like Kabbadi League,Hockey league and MMA just took off in India recently.Cricket will never be a sport cheered by 1 billion plus in future,Our success at ISL (Indian Soccer League) RIGHT NOW and in year two now is a oracle of things to come.We will eventually buy Top football players playing in all around the world, its just a matter of 2-3 years just like IPL took off.Like i said Demand and Supply! If you can't withstand the heat of the Kitchen, then GTHO.

As an Indian fan, I would like to say that I support if BCCI asks for more share but I also believe it should balance it's share from ICC. Let's be honest, nobody liked Big3 but India is still the largest contributor to ICC revenue and THE biggest market in cricketing world. Nobody has to listen to us but blaming BCCI for everything is wrong with ICC or world cricket is very wrong. Let's talk about wrongs in cricket. 1) Finance:- yes, this is the first point and the main point. There is zero financial incentive to play cricket. Unlike football, nobody wants to play for only *Finance*. The earnings of top cricketers even in IPL don't match to the earnings of top footballers. Also, cricket is mismanaged in huge way. Although BCCI should get the highest share, there is no fixed amount of money which is distributed to other Associate cricket team's every year(Football has this feature). Also, playing Cricket is....expensive...and very demanding in skill and time. Overall, what I am saying is that International Cricketers don't get paid enough in general. 2) The elitism in cricket-> to play cricket you need proper equipment and proper training. Look at football, I just need a ball to play it and size doesn't really matter ;-). 3) Also, ICC is not building enough stadiums in some very promising associate countries like Nepal,Netherlands,Scotland etc. ICC must partner with other world bodies like World Bank to build decent stadiums in these countries. 4)What is our end goal? Have you ever asked what is our end goal? Inclusion in Olympics will be good but then what? Football has a vision, it has a goal. Cricket doesn't have a goal. Now , few things I would really like every cricket fan to hear for a sec. Look in India, we have 1.5B ppl, that's a big market but that means there is very high requirements for basic cricketing facilities. So, the money which BCCI isn't going through somebody like Sepp Blater's mouth. They are investing the money they earn in cricket in India. You can even write a thick book on number of domestic/local/zonal tournaments which are played in India every year. The above reason is why I support higher share for BCCi(but not like that if Big3 model). From outside, you might even think Indian system and judiciary is broken but it's pretty good as far as handling these high level cases (most don't accept that fact). More ppl=more requirements=more money required Life comes full circle in cricket atleast in financial part. Oh and last part, Football isn't gaing shit here. I watch football but India plays so bad football that I've stopped watching it, FIFA can't change the fact that we have a shit team no matter how much Sepp Blater butters India for big market access. Oh! And those who say their respective boards need more money to play better cricket. You can check out the financial condition of BCCI & Indian team in 1983 when they won the world cup(Spoilers:- it was pretty shit). You need guts play good cricket, like Afghanistan or Ireland. Everybody can fade like Kenya or Netherlands.
