The difference between Eazy and Magic Johnson is that magic found the HIV in the very early stages when it wasn't fatal yet and showed no symptoms. He found at the point where the medicine at the time was effective at stopping the virus from turning into AIDS vs Eazy who most likely had the virus for many years as it slowly evolved into AIDS. The medicine would have been wasted on Eazy for there was nothing that could be done at the point. If you had full blown AIDS in 1995 like Eazy had, there was only one place you could go, the grave.
