I think his super-tumor is gonna maybe slowly change his personality and he'll accomplish his ultimate goal of defeating Homelander but in the process he'll have to submit completely to the influence the super-cancer has on him. So then the boys, along with Ryan, will have to take him down and it probably won't be pretty.

It's worth mentioning that by this point Butcher had disbanded The Boys and sent everyone away. He did not expect anybody to be there when the explosives went off. He's a new addition to Season 4, not established and he's a poorly written character. They could've given Colin a better story with Frenchie. I don't think Kimiko and Frenchie would work out since they don't have that type of "love" in the show. In the comic, Kimiko (The Female) was raised by frenchie and him confessing his love to her feels...off. if I raised this girl since she was a child, I wouldn't look at her as a sexual or romantic partner. That part always bothered me when I read the mid-ass comic after I watched the show. Kimiko might not see Frenchie as a "love interest" and more like a brother. Frenchie isn't "confessing his love," he has a father-daughter relationship to THE FEMALE, as she is called in the comics, not kimiko. Butcher is not senselessly killing his friends. This is not random, and it's not cynical or out of character. Butcher was straightforward from minute one that ALL supes had to die, and if you didn't understand that that includes the Boys, that's on you. Ridiculous number of people in the comments who just clearly never read the books. I really have grown to hate this fandom. It's nearly every day I hear or read a comment describing how the show is much better, and the books are a cynical pile of garbage with awful storytelling. The books are not at all bereft of cynicism, but people are incapable of pointing out ACTUAL cynicism. Fellas. Be real. Every single main character has had their arcs completely fall apart. The show is currently reviewing very poorly. It's absolutely LOADED with cynicism and, frankly, to a much higher degree than in the comics. Remember that in the comics, Homelander didn't go full tilt until after Black Noir framed him? He was much more morally gray than show Homelander ever was. If you need an example of this, read the arc in the comics about the superhero group home, which I have NEVER seen discussed. Those chapters specifically outline that yes, ALL supes have to die because their life is detrimental to themselves and each other as well as regular people. It's impossible to achieve Butcher's vision while they still live. Don't comment on books you haven't read. Don't praise the show as being better when you clearly never read the source. Stop huffing paint fumes and recognize that the TV show is terrible, and has been for a long time. I enjoy it, and watch it every week, but y'all are on some seriously stupid shit to say that a book you never once picked up is worse. Even braver for you to do so assuming we, people who did read it, won't realize.

I thought kimiko could regenerate frm literally nothing ?
