You know I'm starting to notice a trend with Batman stories. In his solo stories he actually comes of as human, a man that can be hurt, outplayed and beaten to a certain extent, he's got flaws that actually makes me want to like him. But in team-up stories, it feels like they overplay him, make him sound godlike, got no flaws and he can do anything he wants, survive anything he wants, beat anyone. I mean the fact that he supposedly can dodge the beams of Darkseid sounds like pishpos, that is something even Superman have problems dodging.

Well they need to or he's irrelevant, despite being the biggest DC seller. But he explains it well with one line in the books. He basically says that Superman is great for world-ending villains like Brainiac and Darkseid, but that nobody else could handle villains like Joker. It was something like that. In that explanation, he's basically saying that nobody else has the level of detective skills he does. The others are more or less meat-heads who can throw a punch by comparison. After all, "World's Greatest Detective" basically means "world's greatest thinker".

It should be the second or third imo. What makes this story so special is that it showed how much the joker has changed, after a period of time. Jared Leto is very much a joker living everyday in he DC universe. I think establishing that as a character first is important. Have him in a hanibal lector type role in the first batman movie then have him escape, then disappear for over a year or something then come back different and with a motive

I love this story, because, it's dark, and every scheme the Joker pulls is like a really, really demented joke, and although being really f-ed up, he still remains silver-age-y in which he has a handbuzzer and all, this needs to either be a live action movie in Reeve's trilogy (Although it probably won't be), Or an animated film with Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill. And he's like all three ages of the Joker, Criminal Mastermind (Golden Age), Clown and Jokester with some gag gadgets (Silver Age), Psychopathic Serial Killer/ Terrorist (Bronze/Modern Age).

You know, in the end, The Joker sorta did kill the Bat Family. They no longer trust him, no longer want to be associated with him. The things he fights for, the things he holds most and makes him stronger, distrust him and hate him for not telling them these things. That's what really hit me. Not the Joker. SPOILERS Not the Bat Families fake faces on trays, but the fact Batman is now alone. Sure, they may make up later ( I have no idea) but right now, he has nobody left. No parents. No surrogate family. Just himself. Exactly the way the Joker wanted him to be.

+Storm Rage That's the beauty of the Joker, he wins although it seems he lost. In the Dark Knight Movie for example, he proved that deep down we're all like him by corrupting Harvey Dent, his goal was to prove it to Batman not the city. And in endgame for example his goal was to kill Batman, and although bruce ,was revived, he is no longer Batman (for now), and in the killing Joke once again while failing to drive Gordon insane he arguably drove Batman to break his one rule or at least make Batman laugh. The Joker always wins.

Besides, in Arkham City Jokers death sort of drove Bruce insane in Arkham Knight which is one of if not the main goal of the Joker. i had watched ben for about a year before i watched this one. before i did i never thought more of comics other than pretty art and fun voice overs, but i vividly remember this video and getting teary eyed. I recognized that this is a medium for storytelling, and one of the most beautiful ones at that. 9 years later im an aspiring comic book writer, so without Ben, I’m not sure where I’d be. That's the whole point of the Joker. He someone that you cannot understand and cannot reason with. He is a lunatic that does things because he thinks it's funny. That's what separates him from your average from your average thug. Also that is what makes him scary because he's very unpredictable and you don't know much about him other than the schemes he tries pull to prove his point . I mean we are talking about a guy that kills people for no reason just because he can.
