Thanks so much @FightinCowboy for this series. I hold Death Stranding close to my heart and seeing one of my favorite KZbinrs play it has been a joy ride. Hope you’re as excited for DS2 as much as I am!

Thank you for playing this. It's not a game for me, but I appreciate you taking the time to show us the story. I enjoyed watching!

Wonderful series! I especially enjoy all this frantic googling that is going on anytime Cowboy gets nervous about anything. The music in this game is outstanding. The motion capture, the acting, everything is pretty much as good as it gets. And I really enjoyed delivering packages, creating structures that could help out others, getting the entire road going, etc. Gives me great pleasure and fulfilment. Such a strange, yet wonderful, and masterly done and crafted game!

I knew it! From the start I knew he was his dad and then about half way through I knew that mum/sis were the same! Looking at the trailers for DS2 I’m going to say my theory. Lou doesn’t die but ends up living a good chunk on the beach (maybe not earths beach but a branch off of the multiverse), probably stolen by Higgs. She lives with Higgs for a while I reckon. I think time hopping plays a bigger role, probably linked to how they can now navigate under the tar which is why we are seeing Sam at different ages. Same theory for why Fragile’s skin is young again. Definitely something up with the under-tar world. I also think Lou is Tomorrow and could have another split like Bridget or it could be that Sam ends up skipping through time but is aging weirdly because he’s a repatriate. Higgs is probably a BB that was “adopted” by Bridget as well but got manipulated the other way. But I do wonder who the new BB is or if it’s a new BB at all. Excited to see where it goes! Thanks for playing it.

Cowboy, I've seen 2 other Let's Play/Walkthroughs of this game and you did stuff I've never seen (eg, you built an interstate highway system...amazing). I thoroughly enjoyed your entire series. Well done, sir.

Never managed to get past the 1h mark on my own playthrough, so I’m so happy this has been the best 26ish hours ever spent on KZbin 🤩 Thank u soo much @FightinCowboy for doing the hard work showing us this masterpiece, and have absolutely loved the series 😍

20:13 spoiler: This started the death stranding. Bridgets soul, Amelie on the beach, defied the natural-order-of-things and granted Sam repatriation out of sympathy for dying in a such a horrible way as a baby and hope for her plans for the future. This allowed BTs to invade the world of the living through the Seam that was created during this process. This was an irreversible consequence that caused the beginnings of the Death Standing and the 6th Great Extinction. Ever since then humanity has been Doomed, the only question is “how long?”.

Really enjoyed watching this Let‘s play even though I played trough the game myself. It’s a slow burner and, as you said, definitely not for everyone. But in the end I got so hooked by the world building elements that I even continued to do stuff for a while after the credits rolled. Looking forward to part 2. Thanks for many hours of entertainment. ✌️ PS: it’s so funny how the DS2 trailer makes absolutely no sense at all if you haven’t played the first game but makes a lot of sense and is actually pretty dope if you’re a DS veteran. Hideo went full Kojima on it.

I've 100% this game three times. Yet, the Death Stranding 2 trailer didn't make any sense whatsoever. When I thing about it, having played the game might have made the trailer more confusing.

Yay! Great job completing DS! To me, once you reach Chapter 3, it all makes sense. The attrition required to stick and commit with the game start making sense. The game opens up, the once empty lockers start filling with useful items and the world starts shaping itself, not by my hand but the effort of everybody else. This isn't about how hard the game is but about how can we reduce the suffering of others. A full highway is a huge endeavor for one player but not so much for a collective of players who don't mind spending their materials for others. A totally misunderstood masterpiece (with flaws, like everything in this world

Remember that for the sequel: if we play as Sam or Lou, both are off the network so they won’t be able to build anything at all, not even underwear

I wonder how they’re gonna adapt This to a movie or series. Hideo said it was being planned but said due to its complex nature of the game’s story line it will adapted differently irl.

Wait. Can you comment or post somewhere about what you think of the Death Stranding 2 trailer?
@FightinCowboy3 күн бұрын
Oh it's wild as fuck. What is going down with his daughter? Why the hells does Higgs have a guitar axe? Why is Fragile younger all of a sudden? So many questions.
@CardSearcher9113 күн бұрын
@@FightinCowboy well in one of the trailers, there was a .... I guess midway(?) scene between the two games with Fragile and Lou. That kinda-ish explains what happens to Lou. Kinda-ish. It's Kojima, I never expected a straight answer from him.

Hey so I’m going through your Bloodborne walkthrough and for some reason when I sent the little girl to Odeon Tomb, her body didn’t show up in the underground sewer. So I didn’t get the ribbon, is that going to affect Platinum?
