@mm-gk6xg17 күн бұрын
not intending to argue im not knowledgeable enough on fish ethics, but i think part of the difference is that those animals have all been domesticated over centuries (millennia?), the fish may have been raised in a farm but thats not the same level of generational domestication i dont think. plus someone else in the comments pointed out that fish are very sensitive to feel minute changes in water direction/temperature/pressure so the harnesses could be much more uncomfortable for them, then theres also just the fact of holding them outside of the water for an amount of time which suffocates them momentarily, and all of these things combined just stressing them out a bunch

im from Europe and we eat carp . just have to know how to make it . its delicious .Brined Carp Ingredients: 1 kg carp (cleaned and cut into steaks) 1 liter water 100 ml vinegar 2-3 tablespoons salt 1-2 bay leaves 10-12 black peppercorns 4-5 cloves of garlic (smashed) Fresh parsley (for garnish) Optional: slices of lemon Instructions: Prepare the Brine: In a large pot, combine water, vinegar, salt, bay leaves, black peppercorns, and smashed garlic. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and let it simmer for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly. Cook the Carp: Place the carp steaks in a shallow dish or a large pot. Pour the warm brine over the fish, ensuring they are fully submerged. If necessary, you can add more water to cover the fish completely. Let the carp marinate for at least 2 hours, or ideally overnight in the refrigerator. Grill the Fish: Preheat the grill or a grill pan. Remove the carp from the brine and allow it to drain slightly. Grill the carp steaks for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and nicely charred. Serve: Transfer the grilled carp to a serving plate. Garnish with fresh parsley and optional lemon slices. Serve hot, accompanied by polenta or a fresh salad.

Crows? Use a bird native to the area! Vulture for Egypt, maybe? Condor in South America, I reckon.
@SHMOUSEY864 күн бұрын
@ yeah no one says _The Pyramids_ to refer to any of the ones in North or South America. Either way, the Egyptian pyramids are taller and much more of a spectacle for someone to fly over. Not to mention the fact that the American Pyramids are usually located in jungles and/or dense forests, so trying to take off and land would be significantly more difficult and dangerous than in the desert. Either way, crows are native to Egypt, and were symbolic of a lot of different things in ancient Egyptian culture including love, sickness, death, and divinity. Plus, they're very intelligent and easy to train, given the fact that they're some of the most intelligent animals on the planet. Also if the question is "how many", then why would you get the biggest avian birds possible? You'd clearly want average sized birds. TL;DR- No.

If the harness was attached to the bottom of the pipe as well as the top, it would work better, as the harness makes them turn upwards when they want to swim fast. But also, I think having a small net on the front of each pipe, with a hole just large enough for their snout to fit through would work best instead of a harness. That way their head would be fixed into the net and they could swim semi-freely without the obstruction of the harness.

A few ideas for improvement: 1) Use a net that fits around the fish (leaving their faces, gills, and fins free to work) to more effectively hold them. 2) Make the tubes a few inches longer and put netting "doors" on them. If the fish "slip their traces", they'll still be contained. 3) For steering, you want the "fish yoke" to be mounted on a swivel under the tongue. Then mount a crossbar to the bow of the boat. Mount pulleys on the end of the crossbar. Run ropes out from where you sit, through the pulleys, and then forward to the "fish yoke". This should give you enough leverage to point them in the direction you wish. Good luck with version 1.1!
