Chuck Schuldiner was literally ripped away stolen from the world of the living due to an actually preventable circumstances BUT DO YOU SERIOUSLY GET YOUR BRAIN SCANNED BY THE DOCTORS TO LOOK FOR SUCH LETHAL OCCURRENCES EVER? HAVE YOU EVER EVEN JUST ONCE YET?????

We are born to die, may death come when it comes from whatever happens to me here on Earth. I welcome death.
Death metal is really not my cup of tea, but I could listen to this song every single day. Chuck Schuldiner was a beast, this live performance is freakin’ unbelievable. 🤘🏻

I listened to metal, in my youth, and at the same time also jazz .. When I happened to run into Death (and therefore Chuck) for the first time, I realized that there was something much higher, more sought after in the music than this incredible band .. I think the music is like a dress: today I wear this, tomorrow this other .. I can listen to Pat Metheny and have fun, but if I need it today I listen to Death and enjoy it the same way. I have always listened to music of quality and compositional depth. This is what I found in Death and in Chuck. The greatness of this boy, both musically and humanly, does not have many equals. From what I could read about him, especially after his untimely death, it makes me think that this world turns backwards: the great people are torn from us, and the pieces of shit remain (I just need to see all the politicians of the world and various delinquents).

Freshly Squeezed Tap Water i Love death metal even to bands like suffocation and abominable putridity and full slam. But death are the best. Chuck was clever when picking talented people for his band like gene hoglan. His later stuff was able to add melody, prog and quality lyrics while still keeping the grit and heaviness of their. 80s stuff. Even control denied is incredible
@chrism15183 жыл бұрын
I agree with you. Most “extreme” music is edgy dogshit. Death, and Chuck, wrote about real things in the world from a realistic view. Aside from their first album, of course. Which Chuck himself said was “blood and guts childish fantasies”

lyrics: Do you feel what I feel, see what I see? Hear what I hear? There is a line you must draw Between your dream world and reality Do you live my life or share the breath I breathe? Lies feed your judgement of others Behold how the blind lead each other The philosopher You know so much about nothing at all Ideas that fall under shadows Of theories that stand tall Thoughts that grow narrow Upon being verbally released Your mind is not your own What sounds more mentally stimulating is how you make your choice So you preach about how I'm supposed to be Yet you don't know your own sexuality Lies feed your judgement of others Behold how the blind lead each other The philosopher You know so much about nothing at all
