In addition, there are the types you cannot place into your deck: conspiracy, dungeon, phenomenon, plane, scheme, and vanguard. Legendary, Basic, Ongoing, Snow, and World are all supertypes, and thus don't count as types The more you know

I'm surprised you didn't mention anything about manipulating the finality counters! Removing the counter allows the permanent to go to the graveyard instead of exile, so they be recurred with Winter's ability again on a later turn. I'm thinking like Thrull Parasite, Power Conduit, Fain the Broker, Hexavus, Hex Parasite, Ferropede, and Etched Slith; four of these being artifact creatures to pull double duty for enabling Delirium as well.

Waste of deck slots in my opinion except for maybe nesting grounds. I’d rather be using those to make sure my deck runs more consistently like some more dedicated recursion spells or tutors that put stuff in the graveyard

@@hyfynorris The bigger a channel gets, the more sponsorships are presented. They do ALOT of production that literally no other MTG channel does, so the money has to come from somewhere to pay their employees. Luckily for you, it's youtube and not TV, so you can happily skip at any time.

Baba Lysaga wants really cheap permanents with more than 1 type. Servo tokens, Thopter tokens, Mishra's Factory are the MVPs of that kind of deck. Winter wants the opposite, big bombs to reanimate.

Not as good as you think it would be , I bought it thinking the same thing to upgrade but after playing the deck you don't wanna sac anything. Your main goal is getting stuff in the graveyard and cheating it out. Everything is big and you wanna keep it or useful for ramp. I've won a bunch of times mainly from damage but twice just from the room pinging everyone.

NOTE MISTAKES: there are 9 card types not 7 (Creature, artifact, enchantment, land, battle, Planeswalker, kindred, instant, sorcery) you got archenemy edh wrong, it's now 60 life each and the other players have a shared life total (according to Gavin, I haven't read the deck strategy insert so i could be wrong)

I was expecting a bigger focus on bringing big stuff back from the graveyard. Both from the deck and the upgrade. Why am i jumping through all the hoops of self milling and caring about delirium when i can just ramp with my green deck to cast those 5 and 6 drops? With the suggested upgrades you might as well replace the Commander and the self milling theme entirely.

Have to agree. I think the mill aspect is cool but the payoff has to be worth it. For Winter to be better than just ramping, I should be bringing back Archon of Cruelty, Sandwurm Convergence, Portal to Phyrexia or Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant on turn 5!

I think argentum masticore fits perfectly in this Deck. It removes things from your opponents board while putting cards in your graveyard that you want to reanimate. And in addition to that itself has two card types.

It's not a craterhoof effect, it does not give evasion. Saying it's just a craterhoof imprint the "price memory" to be sold as such instead of pointing out the lack of boars evasion wich would pull the price down.

It's important to note the difference between card types and supertypes. Super types never appear alone and include Legendary, Ongoing, Basic, Snow, and World. Card type are battle, conspiracy, creature, dungeon, enchantment, instant, kindred, land, phenomenon, plane, planeswalker, scheme, sorcery, and vanguard. A card referring to a card type will only check for the latter and you should ignore the supertypes.

Correction, archenemy commander is 60 life for villain and 60 life for the "heroes" (with the heroes life being shared so if any of the heroes takes damage its taken out of their 60 health).

So ive played this deck. The first thing id put in is more ramp, not a lot because you can cheat costs with reanimation. But the Bello deck and this deck do not feel like they share colors at all lol They new Kindred Changleing sorcery plus Wrenn and Seven is almost certinaly a pop off, and its fun to do. Idk if id try to make that happen, or if I'd go wirh more bugs. Grist as the Lead and Winter as a "card draw" piece. The new Deliriumed Discount Craterhoof was a big dopamine rush. This deck is pretty slow, but this format is more about the second mouse than the early bird imo. Just play your cardboard right, dont reach too far too fast, and pray there's a more threatening Bajuka Bog target lol

I feel the scarecrow flavour missed a beat. Birds don't like scarecrows so something like "as long you control a scarecrow these birds can't attack you" effect would of been more fitting

I‘d like to mention one of the imo most obvious cards for upgrading this deck: Syr Konrad. He‘s probably one of the most powerful cards you could combine with Winter because Winter says you can exile ANY number of cards with four or more card types among them. So fill your graveyard fast (Dredge will do the job perfectly) while having Syr Konrad on the battlefield as soon as possible and then just exile all your creatures from there with Winter. While reanimating something with Winter you‘re probably kicking out one or two players at once. At this point, you don‘t even need to bother about these annoying finality counters. I was very underwhelmed when I saw Winter the first time… Now Death Toll is probably the precon I‘m most exited for. Always wanted a great selfmill commander and he‘s perfect for that!

Hurrcane deals damage to all creatures with flying and all players, it's an X spell, so you can just give out birds with the backup commander then save hurricane until you are 1v1 then kill all the birds, hopefully you have more life than they do, so you might take them out too.

How did you guys find $130 in reprints for this deck? I checked the value right when the decklist was revealed and it was at $97. This was before the market would have a chance to really change and it’s $30 less than the video. This deck has very low value in reprints compared to nearly every other precon that came out in the last year so I was looking forward to you guys discussing that.
