Game reminds me of an old Heavy Metal story of the last two humans on earth after humanities fall. All the resources are used up and intelligent insects have evolved. One kid dreams of seeing the ocean, but when they finally reach it it's basically dried up into a lake filled with decaying trash so his sister puts out his eyes with a flaming branch in his sleep.

Story was serialized in Heavy Metal Magazine and I may have only caught the last half or so, as I don't remember the beginning that is described, but fairly sure that's it. If not, you can't really go wrong with anything that was published in Heavy Metal.

@@exu7325 Well this is the same government that bans ghosts, time travel, what they consider excessive violence and most depictions of sex in most movies, films and novels. Like I didn't think the Chinese government bureaucrats would censor the novel because they would think it was criticising their government. I thought they would censor the novel because it had too much sex and violence in it for the bureaucrats liking. Like in 2019 the Chinese government demanded PUBG be banned beause it featured a small amount of blood and guts. The Chinese publisher Tencent had to pull PUBG out of Chinese markets and replace it with a reskinned version called "Game for Peace". "Game for Peace" presents itself as a simulation of Chinese soldiers doing a training exercise. Now when an enemy player is killed, instead of bleeding the enemy player just gets up and waves goodbye before vanishing.

You are indeed a cannibal even if you were doing it unknowingly. A cannibal, by definition, is someone who eats the meat of their own species. You can be made a cannibal unwittingly. You can absolutely say that you were not aware of it, and it will likely save you from any real responsibility, but it won't change the actual fact that you ate human flesh i.e. committed cannibalism i.e. are a cannibal. Similarly to how you can commit incest without knowing it (which is actually not as uncommon a scenario as you might think nowadays) or many other unfortunate things. You can commit the act and be labeled for it, but you are not necessarily responsible even then.

You had an unused Skill Point. It looks like when you leveled up you got a Skill Point too. Its just on a separate Tap on the level up window. You used your Attribute Point but not your Skill Point. That's why it had a glowing blue square on the Tab.
