Great video, and thanks for filming these wild places that most working people will never get to see up close! 21:55 Those dunes were there since Noah's Flood, and I doubt that wheel ruts would harm a single snake. The rules exist for other reasons.

Saline Springs is the perfect place to visit in midwinter to have a swim just before bedtime. The moving stones have no been recorded as they move. They are frozen in ice, as the ice brakes up the wind can blow the ice sheets moving the stones. Fantastic trip to visit Death Valley.

Nice. You're saving the good stuff. And we got to see your better half. Trying to remember where I saw you shooting those gaps before. You'll have to visit quartzite in early January. Before the big tent closes. It's all nonsense, but a spectacle unlike anything in the world. Maybe camp with Tom-Hobotech a night during his get together. Sit around campfire with a "clinky" and pick each other's brains. The manufacturers turn to him for suggestions on improvements. Mostly solar and lithium packs.

Nice video Mr. White. Been interested in bigger canvas to an outdoor expedition vehicle, such as the Mitsubishi Fuso (Canter) 4wd, or the Iveco Daily 4wd. With big payload standard, and space enough to install a camper van on the tray. That platforms would be similar to the current one used on the video perhaps.

Dont worry. Given enough time, more and more people will move to your nation and remove more and more wild places making gas stations always closer... I can't help but wonder though if this is still a possibility.

Andrew, I very much enjoy watching your videos. They are a great inspiration. I do have a question about your Death Valley trip. It appears that there was a point where your Four Wheel camper became unattached to the Tundra due to it clearly hanging out over the rear bumper. Having a Tundra and a Four Wheel camper myself, I was wondering what happened and how you were able to deal with the problem being out on the trail.

I can't get my head around the fact that campers in the US don't have showers and why all the open slats on the camper, 50km on bush track in Aust and the thing would be full of bull dust.
@yeahman1975
@yeahman1975 3 жыл бұрын
Some do and some dont. Alot of the ones you see for weight savings have an external shower and a compost toilet option. With the outside shower and shower tent you are fully functional for 3 seasons. i prefer an inside shower but both work very well. Due to the design of alot of trucks and campers they are super top heavy an most are not made to go off road mostly because they are super top heavy. Build type and quality is also a factor as you would want the most sturdy but light building materials to handle all of the twisting and bending that happen while offf road.

@@ookeekthelibrarian in regards to fuel tank sizes, you have to remember that the US is alot more populated then Australia, so you have alot more fuel availability. In Aus Apart from the coast on the East its a decent trip going between main cities with a scattering of small towns for fuel Fuel, for example Adelaide to Perth and Adelaide to Alice Springs etc. And on showers, I have a Friend that has a similar camping set up on his F250 and it has Gas hot water for Showers

Maybe this will help. This series was produced when we had one fifth the number of viewers and subscribers. So it reaches a lot of new people who do not go into the backlists to find videos. Also, its re-edited into a long duration video. Some people like short, some long. That's why I make this clear on the thumbnail. It brings in ad revenue. I leave some mid roll ads, but remove KZbin's suggested one-every 5-minute practice. And for the small number who have seen the original, it's nice to see a series all in one go. And many, I'm told, like to see my shows more than once. Which is nice. Good for view numbers and every one gets a bunch of new subscribers. And those who don't want to watch it again . . . don't. No harm done.
