Jesus wasn't packing, that's how they nailed him to the cross. Makes you think though, the last thing Christ would want to see is idolatrous crucifixes all over the place, especially if adorning people. Put another way; if Jesus was executed by guillotine, would people wear little working replicas around their neck, with a small, bearded skull in a basket? Or how about an executioners axe then? People get tattoos of crosses although it is discouraged as it is altering the creation of God, so why not tattoos of executioners’ axes?
