As much as I love Judge Mathis, the fact of the matter is that he is in some regards a bully. As with most bullies they can't stand it when others stand up to them which is what happened in the first case. Where is the fault in stating that his financial situation was the possible reason the child was pushed his way? Its happened many times in the past and will certainly happen in the future where a mother, unsure of who the father of her child is opts for the man she believes will give the child the most stability. Judge Mathis calling the man a fool is way out of order and his anger at feeling confronted got the better of him. Not the best look but he is of course human and fallible.

I've seen this man respect crackhead, deadbeat lying mothers, criminals, and anyone who reminds him of his brother but couldn't even be man enough to apologize for the disrespect he showed that man who came all that way just to be disrespected on TV, still providing more evidence to him telling the truth about her mom. And everything that man said about her mother is true. She was broke, promiscuous and a liar. She wanted his money plain and simple and everyone knew it including her mom. That's why she waited to say anything until she was dying so she wouldn't be held accountable or deal with it. I'm glad this man held his composure and stood up to JM cuz he was the only fool I saw

I like judge Mathis a lot but he goofed this time. I felt this elderly, respectful and well-behaved man didn't deserve this kind of insult and denigration from the Judge. To top it all, this lady brought this gentleman she said herself , that he was good to her, to court to be humiliated like that, and all she could do was leave this man in the courtroom and just walk away. Goodness! That was just cold. I am disappointed 😥

Yikes! I'm concerned about how harshly JM reacted to this man. The man didn't say anything disrespectful, but still tried to correct himself even though he wasn't sure what he'd said wrong. It's scary how emotional judges can be on any given day---they have the power to determine the fate of peoples' lives. 😣

His work in the streets is appreciated but he is completely unfit for being a judge and I would feel like I’m walking on egg shells around him. Judge Mathis talks big-ish because he’s a judge. Her Mom was loose as a goose and bussing it wide open for everybody in the neighborhood. A lot of loose-booty women try to pick and choose who their BD is based on financial stability. This man didn’t say or do anything to warrant the disrespect that Judge Mathis bestowed upon him. It was disgusting, unprofessional, and disrespectful. Her Mother knew she was scandalous that’s why she didn’t show her face in court today. He never said he or his family were rich. And she’s standing there fake crying, not one tear dropped. 🙄

Doesn't even matter if it was tru, show some respect to the deceased and the fact that it's her mom
