Bisio Giovanni served in Don Bosco’s rooms from 1864 until 1871, and he affirmed, “I can say that Don Bosco was called to the city many times to hear the confessions of sick and obstinate sinners. Whenever I questioned him upon his return to the Oratory, his answer was always: ‘Well… That fellow confessed.’”
