@@Siamzero1994 when a game is getting funding that means you don't get gameplay, because that costs money to make JUST that. It's like you guys don't get the concept of final models and mechanics that need to be created by people who need to be paid. If you don't want to crowdfund something then that's fine but it's a bit funny that you need gameplay in a trailer when triple A titles do the exact same thing. Prerenders are supposed to show the concept they want to give when work starts then gameplay trailers come out. It's annoying to tell artists and developers "I want shit" when they're probably only starting to sculpt the models right now. Adding on they don't want to use too many store bought assets as well. Prerenders are to show your idea, it's the same pitch you do in many other industries.

Make the Dinos actually scary, rather than getting a humourous reaction from players. 5. Don't fuck it up by listening to Marketing. One of my dream games is a Jurassic Park park simulator where the game is rigged to make you cut corners to keep the park running. Security is expensive, safety has to be sacrificed for thrills, it's cheaper to buy better insurance than to make sure accidents can't happen. But when things go really wrong, you switch to a first person survival horror mode, and have to move around in and try to survive in the park, using whatever security you did (or didn't) invest in to help you. This looks like half of what I want, so kudos for that.

I have a few questions about the direction of the game... 1. Use of audio for games like this can make or break the game, what will the atmosphere be like while playing? 2. Are you planning making the dinosaur sounds as realistic as possible, as close to Jurassic Park(people use this as a reference generally), or something in between? 3. Will this be like Alien Isolation where the game is focused on a single ai or will there be multiple(e.g. pack of raptors). 4. How complex will the ai be?

Hey Brandon, thanks for the questions. There'll be loads more info on the game shortly. For now, see some quick responses below: - Atmosphere will be incredibly tense, suspenseful and anxious, achieved through our art direction and sound design. We've got artists who've worked on games like Soma, Amnesia Machine for Pigs and an award-winning audio engineer who focuses on every little detail to create pure terror. - All assets you see/hear are super early and we aim to improve/replace a lot. For instance, we want to research and develop our dinosaurs immensely and create realistic dinosaurs using latest science. - We already have fully functional AI with lots of different attributes like speed, strength, awareness (noise/vision), aggression etc.

So first thoughts: the concept is something I'm interested in and has been wanted for a long time. My concerns will are in a few areas; the quality of the models/animations/visuals, etc. I know this is very early, but it looks a little wonkey and cartoonish and could use refining. Another concern is gameplay; coop is great, but I'd like to see single player and other modes like one not base on classes where the player can use whatever they need to survive and could find weapons of varying effectiveness. A handgun may hurt a rex, but probably wouldn't kill it etc. I don't want the game to feel like a Left 4 Dead or Alien Isolation dinosaur mod. That being said I have this on my steam wishlist and will keep an eye out with a good measure of interest. I raise these concerns not to complain to developers who put a lot of time into these things, I just want to get it right. If it's done right this could be a wildly popular game and I definitely will be keeping an eye on this.

Thanks for your feedback. Don't worry about the quality of anims/models, these are early assets and subject to change. Re. Co-op, we are aiming for the game to accommodate 1-3 players to start with therefore you can play on your own and will likely have access to more items to level out the difficulty.

Man this concept is something long needed in dino games. So long it's been divided into generic (although some fun) FPS or park generators. Keep up the good work and if your going to nail one thing make it the T-Rex reveal. You can create a very powerful moment with that just like Spielberg did. Also for Raptor movement maybe use the kitchen scene as your guys baseline for how they bob as they walk. Good luck guys : )
