I survived an attempted murder and was able to give a victim's impact statement. I remember the months prior to that, lying awake at night in excruciating pain, trying to come up with the right words I wanted to say to him. Probably went through 20 notebooks, writing and wadding up the paper. It's hard to put into words the impact of some random stranger trying to take your life. Edit: This was just a random attack from a guy with a crude weapon (old rusty pruning sheers that he probably found laying on the ground). We didn't know each other. We were just walking past each other, and he just decided to haul off on me. The police report stated that it took 5 cops to subdue him, and they found a c-pipe shoved up his ___ at the station. Could've been anybody in his sites.

Man, the standing for sometimes hours for counts and you see people with walkers and canes also forced to stand the whole time as well is something I never want to experience again. The greasy unwashed trays and roaches climbing the walls at Plainstate in Texas, the limit of two meals on the weekends with barely any time to eat, the screaming all night and mental people left to 💩 on the floor in the day room without access to water, food, or a toilet for over 12 hours. The heartlessness of the COs when someone is dying or has just died is just insane. A woman with one lung removed, put onto the "hoe squad" to work in triple digit heat. The programs that you think you have to take to make parole that don't actually teach any useful information. All I can say is I'm thankful for the books that were helpful on mindfulness meditation, spirituality, and the few good programs and kind people I did meet.

3:39 You know, this really pisses me off. The same exact thing happened to me when I was a 19-year-old female and the police didn't do a damn thing to help me. I am so sick of this. I have been victimized so many times in this city, and I'm not even blaming the city. It's just the way that society is. But I've had guns pulled on me multiple times, somebody unloaded a full clip on me, I've been a victim of domestic violence for over 10 years where I'm now facing homelessness because of what he did, and I have a traumatic brain injury and lost my career, and not once have I ever gotten justice. I was mauled by a pitbull and nearly lost my eye and had to wear an eyepatch for 3 months when I was 19, I've been attacked brutally by different men throughout my life and not a single time have I ever got justice. My car was totaled by a hit-and-run driver and it's my fault that it never got paid because I felt that the cops weren't going to do anything to help me though. It's just gone on for so long I don't bother calling them anymore. I was attacked right before Christmas in a bar by somebody with a pool stick who hit me in my face and I didn't call the cops. Why should I? I waited for them outside lol after I put my gun in the trunk😂 that being said why would I call the cops again? And I definitely wasn't about to use my firearm because of some drunk dingus playing pool stick swords. It's just more dumb s*** that I have to deal with. Anytime I've ever called the police to try to get help (which was when I was pregnant the first time with my baby's dad who would come over drunk, start bullying me, then wouldn't leave) I've been the one ending up in handcuffs. They never EVER believe me. Even with tons of physical evidence including holes in the walls, a doctor's note that shown a torn rotator cuff, a fracture jaw, because there weren't physical bruises they didn't believe that he did it to me. I'm like this guy is a martial artist and he's always bringing about how he can hurt people without leaving a scratch or a mark on them. Which he did rag about all the time and it makes me really uncomfortable thinking about it. That type of such a creep one of the ways he would abuse me was by "tickling" me But it wasn't fun it was really scary and I hated it. When I told the police that's what he was doing, they literally laughed in my face. I was having like a huge breakdown and I was crying and stuff because the person who molested me when I was a child used to do that to me. I hated it so much, I'll never get over the mocking laughing faces of those cops in my living room as I was crying at like 6 months pregnant with my stomach just shaking. I thought I was going to lose the baby. he ruined everything about what I used to like in life. I hope I never date another man again! I'll just stick to dating aliens😂 After all this stuff happened and I finally ended up being by myself after 37 years of pain and issues, I was diagnosed with high functioning autism. That answered a lot of questions why the police never believe me. I was shocked to review research that said that autistic people are found to be unlikable by the majority of people even before they get to talk to the person! It's just something about the way that we look. 5:45 how the hell is this guy getting to tell his story when the same s*** happened to me and the police didn't even write down a report? It's very strange. It makes me wonder what the issue is with me that these authority figures have. All of the cops that would come over here with my neighbors would call on my baby's dad beating up on me they never once believed me. They would always tell me to go outside and then end up leaving saying it was a he said she said even though I was 5'5 110 lb and disabled at the time, they still didn't believe that my 6 ft 2 drug fueled and alcohol influenced baby's dad who's a mixed martial artist and a bouncer at a bar with a long history of domestic violence that he hid for me, they didn't believe that he punched holes in the wall. They thought that it was a he said she said despite me having diagnosed arthritis and carpal tunnel and I was wearing arm braces at the time because I could barely even hold the computer mouse in my hand for work. I was working from home as a substance use disorder therapist yet they had the nerve to say it was adhesive she said when the cops would come over to tell him to be quiet. I couldn't even work out of my own home. I lost my career because of that guy. The cops never wants made him leave my apartment that I paid for everything on and he was not on the lease! They wouldn't even look at the lease. I hate the laws in this country

Hey Bro great channel. I'm from Alabama never been to prison but did time in calhoun county a few times. Some of these Bama county jails are Thunder Domes I swear bro lol. But just wanted to tell good job on the channel man something got change here in Bama. We at one death a day in the Bama prison system that's facts look it up. That Stat alone is totally unacceptable. Nobody's talking about but you really so appreciate it bro.

Homeboy still has little to no control over his emotional Outburst. He needs to be locked up as it's pretty obvious he can't keep cool on the outside
