I genuinely was thinking that Pucci would win when I was reading the manga, the Made in Heaven arc is desperate for the characters and the reader, it still bothers me to have a recap at the beginning of the episode but at least this one was shorter.

With the Joestar curse finally broken, only everything from Part 1-5 played out the exact same in this new universe. With Pucci getting killed, everyone who was affected by his actions gets to live new lives separate from his influence and with their souls from the old universe intact. The only person who is for sure aware of the previous universe's existence is Emporio, though I'd also suspect that Giorno knows since Gold Experience Requiem could exempt him from the same rules that everyone else is subject to during Made in Heaven. Either way, Emporio gets to live with happier versions of his friends. His mother (or at least, an alternate version of her) should now be alive. And if Emporio ever decides to tell anyone what happened, his best bet would be Jotaro since 1) he should still have his Stand and 2) after all of the stuff he has seen and heard between Parts 3-5, he's got more than enough reason to believe Emporio since Dio and Stands were involved with what he went through.
