These deaths bring back memories. I grew up with this anime. Yona of he dawn is similar and it was released last year. The feels for those characters. Love it.

MiyukiZero yona was similar but over all this anime is what I grew up with and I still agree that it's still been my top and always will be! I love yona but yona can't beat this the first. I love the story of yona but wish the anime had ended in a better way like did suwon got kill did yona became king? Or did they join force? But this, I love BBC the story has everything done and reviled and I love the Suzaku 7!!!

@@Rainning04 Read the manga, Akatsuki no Yona is really amazing too! I agree this is the original anime about warriors and prophecies but Yona's latest chapters are so good too. I hope the anime releases season 2 cause there's a lot of good stuff now

Chiriko's death was the saddest for me. I know everyone thinks Nuriko's is the saddest but Chiriko killing himself to save everyone takes a special kind of strength, especially since he's still just a kid. Also, that song was heartwrenching

@@nicolegreen1599 I think of it as more of the luck of the draw. All of her warriors just happened to be born male. But I’ll did get reincarnated as a girl though. Nuriko was a feminine and bisexual male so I guess he counts as the girly energy in the story. Also props to Fushi Yugi for having queer energy in the 90s.

Hotohori... Hotohori... Despite knowing he couldn't get miaka's love he tried his best to protect her love together with tamahome. If that's not love I don't know what else is. He jsut wanted to be loved as a person not as a king...

Suboshi's death was 100% extremely satisfying. And I have 0 empathy for him at all after what he did to Tamahome's family.

F Suboshi, his brother's death was his choice and he knows his brother's mission is spying which is 100% risk already and yet he so petty he chose to kill civilians or non-combatants which has nothing to do for revenge.. Jeez, remembering this brings out my freaking grudge to him till this day.

I'm in the camp that Nuriko's death was the saddest. I cried for hours and then days. Sometimes I still think about it and get sad. And it had an impact on the story, even if it prompted ny least favorite arc. But I don't think I'll ever be able to unsee Chiriko's death. Sometimes the object horror of "a child stabbed himself for the cause and later screamed at a living person who was wasting his life that if he didn't want him life, why couldn't the child have it. Oh god, the child literally killed himself out of duty. OH GOD HE REALLY WANTED TO LIVE."

All of the deaths broke my heart, tbh, even the Seiryu seven. I don’t think they would have been evil at all. I don’t think any of them were. But Yui went in and f*cked things up for lack of a better word. She wasn’t supposed to be there and threw off the balance and her bad energy spilled onto them. Just my take.

Yui was brainwashed by Nakago, he filled her with lies and used his abilities to mess with her memories, much as he manipulated others. She was a tragic victim as much as any other... Even Nakago's poisoned spirit was due to the Emperor of Kutou committing genocide against his people, watching his mother get gang taped, then accidentally killing her, THEN having the emperor use him as a sex toy while still a child and grooming him to be a general. All this nightmare lands at the feet of a greedy pervert Kutou Emperor.

Honestly, I only started to pay attention to him after his wild death. The shock value is strong with this one. He even initiated his own call out post like "I was pretty useless guys." Which, yeah. But also you were a tiny bby child dragged into a war so... acceptable in my mind that you did almost nothing.
