When I used to watch this show as a kid it kinda gave me some emotions that I couldn't explain. It was as if so magical and was real at the same time. It felt like I was inside the story too myself. OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD I JUST FIGURED IT OUT. TAmmahomme was dead (or at least, almost dead, barely hanging on) and that wedding place was Heaven. More than anything, tammahomme wanted to marry miaka and be with his friends and family in harmony as they were in that scene. I think miaka wasn't there because she was still alive (this can be proven false or argued against since some of the characters that R still alive appear) but it also could be one of two other things I think. She either wasn't shown because the pic thing never happened. Or, it was because she was his last hope. She was what was making him hang on. Whatever the case, I think it was either heaven or something like that case. I think it's also beautiful how by Miaka calling for Tammahommes name, he comes back. He has and will always fight for her. Their love truly passed all odds, and even death. FUCK THIS ANIME ITS SO EMOTIONAL.

Even though I’ve already watched this episode many many many times, I still get goosebumps when Miaka summoned Suzaku. Also seeing Nuriko, Hotohori, Mitsukake and Chiriko alive. FY is my most favorite anime. I even bought the manga also the Genbu Kaiden manga though written in Japanese.

Saying that this is the best episode of the series is totally an understatement! Its almost midnight and I'm kinda sleepy but seeing Miaka finally summoning Suzaku kept me wide awake and so hyped up all of a sudden! Just when you feel bad that not all of the Suzaku Seven didn't get to live up to this point to witness it, Nuriko appeared! I had to pause it for a moment to contain myself from screaming! Happy tears were all over me when Hotohori, Mitsukake and Chiriko showed as well even though this isn't the first time I watched it. Plus the modern wedding scene! This episode is so eventful! 💖💖🎉🎉

I love how the part when the 4 Suzaku Warriors that died and somehow reappears. Come to think of Fushigi Yuugi, I think this is going to be the last time I watched all the episodes especially my favorite part is the ending song. When I was a 12 year old, I used to go to school by taking a bus with a TV that shows Fushigi Yuugi. I wish this is not the end of Fushigi Yuugi because I love the romance and the part where I finally got to know them well. My wishes to watch Fushigi Yuugi finally came true. I have read many comments here on KZbin and other forums about Miaka and Yui and I was shocked by the amount of hate people have for miaka I like both miaka and Yui but I prefer Yui more as a character because I find her story line more interesting than Miaka because it wasn’t just centered on love but I don’t hold any dislike or contempt for Miaka at all, I noticed that many Yui fans have very bias views on Miaka and they demonize her way too much People always criticize miaka but don’t mention her good points Miaka actually cared for her warriors, she helped them to overcome their painful past, she tried to understand them and considered them like her second family, she also risked her life many times to save them But Yui didn’t get to bond with her warriors as much as Miaka did with the Suzako’s , she hardly knew anything about them, she didn’t knew their past though she did get to bond with Suboshi and she really liked Nakago So to those who say that Miaka was helpless and didn’t do anything at all and was just a damsel in distress, I argue you to watch this anime again I also hate the fact that fans claim that miaka had it easier than Yui when in fact Miaka suffered just as much, she suffered heartbreaks, she had to see her friends die in front of her one after another and just like Yui, she also attempted to take her own life by drowning her self I feel like people generally love Yui more than Miaka because she’s much more complex and edgier than her and they find her story more interesting because her story focus on deeper themes like revenge, regret and redemption and not romance and friendship like Miaka and I understand this point and I agree but that doesn’t mean that Miaka is a bad character, she’s very well developed and I find her one of the strongest and most realistic heroine in a shoujo anime, she’s far more stronger than Yui in my opinion. Yui is more fascinating to me and I don’t deny that she had the worst luck of the four Miko’s but I really love Miaka’s character and love her inner strength

Yui did care for suboshi. She was the one who comforted him when he was bereft by amiboshi's supposed death . Yui also kept the earring of nakago. She said it herself that he had a special place in her heart. I love both miaka and yui.
