Great report. I'm more convinced of the Strategem than I am of the Tanto. It definitely appears weaker than the Sickle of the Support pack. Will get this last pack anyway since it's the only one I miss, so what the heck. HELLDIVERS rules.

DeathStalker Synchro I love every one of them, I just finished dominating the Illuminates today with the giant robot, I can't wait to reach Lv27 after my exams are over, I have a feeling Helldivers just started and we will get more stuff this year, I can't wait to see them :D

Awesome to hear. Arrowhead Game Studios really nailed it on the DLC especially these new ones (Demolitionist, Specialist, Pilot, and Hazard Ops). I too feel like things are only just picking up for Helldivers. Great game and great studio. I'm sure we'll be seeing some more great additions to Helldivers.

Pretty nice video here. I already got the first Reinforcement Pack for Helldivers after watching your videos about them, and maybe I'll think about getting this one as well, though I'd likely get the second Reinforcement Pack first. Also, in case you didn't know, newcomers who buy the game after the release of the Turning Up The Heat update get the Specialist DLC for free, like those who bought the game prior to the update got the Ranger DLC for free. Just thought I'd point that out.

i have this pack it is very good and i luv it cuz i can spam the shit out of the CAS strat with strat cooldown perk. btw i gave the CAS strat a nickname for it. the A-10 airstrike

Which offensive stratagem is the best for anti-tank in your opinion?

GArry DIxon The Demolitionist's REC-6 'Demolisher' or as everyone is calling it the C4. Once it's at Lvl 3, the only alien I haven't confirmed it can one hit kill is the Illusionist. It wrecks Cyborb tanks, the Bugs Behemoths and even destroy the Bug's nest and Cyborg AA guns. I've olnly had trouble with Illuminate beacons.

Just out of curiosity. Say your friends bought the game and didn't get any of the DLC but you bought the game and bought some of the DLC, will I still be able to play with them or not?

+CHUBBY BUDDY I'm happy to say you most certainly will be able to. Buy the DLC just YOU access to some cooler weapons, armor, and stratagems. So it doesn't affect anyone you play with. What's even cooler is if you want to do so. You can call in DLC stratagems and your friends or anyone even if they don't have DLC can pick it up and use it.

Yeah I've been watching this game for about 8 months and since it came out for PC just yesterday I'm thinking of getting a Microsoft controller to hook up to my PC and getting the game. So...Yeah! I'm excited to try it out. I've always loved twin Stick shooters, and finding hilarious ways to kill my friends. Way too much Alien Swarm. xD

The ''Tanto'' is pretty awesome but the close air support isn't really that good.

TMAdamTM Yeah, loving the Tanto. But don't knock the Close Air Support just yet. It's a bit unpredictable at times. But fully level it's a nice anti-light/mid armor stratagem. I like it's versatility and unlimited call ins. So I even bring it on Helldives. Though, I know it'll still never replace a Lvl 3 Dive Bomb.

SEAN PAR I say its a pretty good pack since you can support your team by killing off a alot of enemies with the suppressor grenade launcher, Also the defender drone is your average stratagem. Also the armor pretty much makes you look like a juggernaut.

Xpert Sniper It gets even better the more you rank up or when you grab a couple buddies. Nothing like "accidentally" killing your friends a couple dozen times. I'd also suggest checking out Magicka 2. It's a bit like Helldivers with wizards instead. You don't have to buy it but just want to let you know it's out there :)

+Daily-c4t I think they're both too good to really say one is better. If you had to make a choice between the two I'd say it depends on your enemy and difficulty. For example, the Tanto's damage output is pretty high making it a good weapon for carving through Bugs. You just have to remember to keep the beam on their center/face. While the Scythe has the range to keep them from getting so close. In fact, the Scythe is really good for dropping the Bugs scouts before they sound the alarms. I've completed a lot of Helldives thanks to this.

Man I preordered Magicka 2, and I just learned this game existed yesterday, which one is better?

James Pankow That's a difficult question for many reasons. Hopefully some other can also reply to this comment with their opinions. Since their two different kinds of game, one being a sci-fi shooter and the other a choatic fantasy game of infinite spell wielding wizards it's hard to compare. I also have yet to play Magicka 2 so I can't say for that game. But Helldivers is hilarious, challenging, rewarding, and simple but tactical. I would describe it but there's so much going on that I would go on for days. In short, if you love either and are interested in the other I'd say buy both. I'd almost say they go hand in hand. They'll provide a good alternative to each other. But in your case since Magicka 2 is about to release hold off on Helldivers and dig into Magicka 2 for at least a week or so.

MrSpaceMarine This is just my opinion, but I'd say the Specialist pack. The Tanto is awesome and even though the Close Airs Support stratagem is sometimes unreliable I still love to use it (especially against the bugs). The Ranger pack is good too but I was never one to really use it. The Humblebee is a favorite of most because when it's maxed out it'll salvage on your minimap. While the camper still holds a special place in my heart, I only use it when I want to hang back and support a low level player without stealing all the kills.

Martin Nguyen I can absolutely say without a shred of doubt that you are 150% correct. To all you guys fighting for and defending Super Earth on Vitas, props to you. Tis no small feat! I've only played on Vita while riding the train to work and it's a struggle and a half. That;s not including if you guys encounter a bug/issue or connection problems. You guys are truly another breed of super soldiers
