Deb Roach My Body Evolution Interview

Born with one arm, she not only holds titles, but studied personal training and many group fitness modalities. Today, she teaches pilates, yoga, barre - and pole!
Deb Roach is 3 times international pole champion in the disabled division. Nicknamed Debzillah for her unstoppable nature, Deb Roach started out in pole dancing back in 2007. She came to the pole world's attention when she took her first International Pole Championship title in Hong Kong in 2012. Deb moved to the UK in 2014 under an exceptional talent visa. She instructed at The London Academy of Pole Dancing. She also toured with UK Circus Company "Extraordinary Bodies" throughout 2015 and 2016. In January 2017, Deb returned to Sydney Australia and started teaching pole in Blacktown. She fell in love with the uniquely flexible learning environment and bought the studio in 2019. Today it is called Stargazer Pole Studio, known for being an incredibly supportive and empowering community.
Deb loves pole dance and all forms of breath-centric movement. From weightlifting to running or to dance and sensual movement, Deb adores anything that blends artistry with athleticism and believes that pole is for EVERY body.
