🖐🏾 successful marriage here and we did not have sex before marriage. Thank God it turned out to be amazing sex 😂😂 I was celibate for 7 years before meeting him as well. I know this is not the norm but it is a possibility for everyone. Was celibacy hard? Yes! Was it worth it? Yes!

Men should date responsibly in the church. A man can study a woman in his church for MONTHS or YEARS before even asking her on a date. Some men date 10+ women in a church per year! That isn't wise and it shows that he doesn't take dating women of God seriously. Talk to her pastor, family, friends, etc. before asking her on a date. That process will show him if she's even worth a date and if he should pursue someone else.

Great discussion on abstaining from sexual immorality (fornication), guys and gals, lol! I agree with both perspectives: if one is raised in a Christ-centered home, the likelihood of he or she falling into fornication is minimal; if one is raised in a non Christian home, the likelihood of he or she falling into fornication is maximized. Be that as it may, The Word of God is the equalizer. It trumps all situations and circumstances. God is powerful enough to keep us from the throes of sexual sin (period). We have to intentionally utilize His Word on a daily basis. This is where most continue to fall and justify their sinfulness. Christ is not represented in EVERY aspect of their lives, including MUSIC and all forms of ENTERTAINMENT. Plain James and Kandyce made great points; however, it is imperative that those types of horrific circumstances do not become one’s EXCUSES or REASONS to engage in sexual immorality. The Enemy will have us calling good evil and evil good. I thought the other ladies’ perspectives were on point as well. As I am believing God for marriage and family, I am eternally grateful that He has sustained me for 43 years. Sure, I had opportunities to step out and “do me”, but The Lord helped me realize that my body was His temple. Moreover, what would I really gain from fornication? I was created to be a wife, not wifey or side piece. I get enraged just thinking about that foolishness. Regarding the guy on that panel in the video clip, I agree with the general consensus. Obviously, he was not crucifying his flesh to abstain from premarital sex. In addition, he sounded bitter and resentful toward women who most likely called out his nonsense. Sean hit it right on the head when he began speaking on men’s accountability and working on all areas of their lives before attempting to lead a woman. ✌🏽💯🔥👊🏽

At about 45/46 minute area, yall listened to a clip with a man about sex before marriage. I think James(hope thats his name) was on the right track. The guy in the clip didnt seem to me to be condoning sex before marriage or saying hes just gonna do what hes gonna do. Now do i believe he was saying "if its with the right woman ill hold off because she wants to" (which is weak just as Sean was pointing out). I think the brother in the clip was really trying to say that sex before marriage is out of order just as cussing someone iut is out of order. That there are many people who are sinning in different ways that need to be worked on. He goes on to try to make an example out of folks that say theyll wait if its the right one, when he talks about "you may be with the right one and having sex before marriage". I believe what he was attempting to explain with that was that that person may actually be the one God has for you and youre having sex before marriage and its still out of order just as cussing someone out is out of order. So he posits that he himself focises on being a great man; this is because hes saying working on being a great man would cover both of those out of order things that need to be worked on. So he focuses on being a great man all around. He was on the spot and talking from the top of the dome so he didnt quite lay it out as consisely as i just did. And yeah you can tell he probably doesnt hold back on having premarital sex like he should, but he was actually making an attempt to not condone it and to say all of these out of order areas in your life need to be worked on. (Thats what he was trying to say vs what we pick up on with intuition of the holy spirit about what he actually does in his own life). Try not to confuse what you can tell about him with what he actually seemed to be trying to express.

It matters, but it matters locally more. It’s the local politicians that eventually run for the federal office. Ex) If you are not electing the right local judges then those same judges that you don’t agree with will move up the ladder if they desire. That’s how we get stuck with people in these high power decision making seats that affect generations because we skip the local polls.

The only way you should have the stance of not voting is if you truly don’t care or think it makes a difference who wins. Most times I don’t think candidates were ideal, especially for black people. Either way someone will be our leader. It’s like having two meals that you don’t like in front of you. You HAVE TO eat one. Fried bugs or sautéed worms. Though you don’t want either, would you want someone to choose what you eat? And if you say you definitely can’t vote for one, you not voting for the other is allowing an opportunity for the one you don’t like to have an extra vote.

We (black people) want to make demands but not put in the work to get what we want. Many people don’t understand how a bill becomes law, lobbying, PACs, campaign donations, etc. We aren’t in the political game. Our ancestors and elders understood the assignment. Unfortunately since integration, we’ve become apathetic and are heading down a path of political irrelevance. Other groups understand Congress enacts laws. They form PACs to represent their interests. They financially support candidates that will push their agenda. They craft laws and lobby Congressmen to bring them forward (bills) to the floor. We’re waiting for a savior and think complaining and withholding our vote is leverage. That’s just not how the political wheels turn. This is why no one takes us seriously anymore. We’ve always had to vote between a rock and a hard place, but we understood the stakes in not voting. We have generations (Gen X and subsequent generations) of people who either don’t know how to critically think, are too spiritual (voting biblically) or are too busy listening to pseudo-intellectuals who really don’t know what they are talking about. It’s really sad what I’m seeing out here. This isn’t going to bode well for us in the long run. We’re squandering what little political capital we have.

A lot of Christians I know will say the don't like a specific candidate so they will vote for the other one and then pray after hoping somehow God is gonna make everything alright. If a woman has a child with a man who she is not in relationship with, but that man is a present father and help, then she is not a single mother. She is not a mother without resources from the child’s father. What she is a woman who may be single in romantic partnership, but has a co-parenting relationship with the father. She is SINGLE AND A MOTHER. Not a single mother. These are two different things. I often hear women say they are single mothers, when the child’s father is very active. It’s not the same. The conjunction “and” means she is single and in addition to being single she is also a mother. A single mother conveys the father is absent. That’s what I was expressing.

I personally believe that Trump is an active threat to America. I think he is a lying criminal mob boss who only cares about himself. The 4 years he was in office were the most stressful time in my life I can remember. And I’m the republican guy on the show. I personally fought and marched to abolish abortion in this country. I get it. But not like this. Not this guy.
