Villa have the 9th best away form with 11 points, one win away from having top 4 away form! We’ve played Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs and Newcastle away in that time. The away form is terrible line is such a lazy observation that seems to have caught on and just not true!!

Im villa fan were doing amazing loving every min but were not in a title race its not even xmas yet!yes were doing amazing exciting team and our home form has to be taken seriously along with our tactically brilliant manager and all round top quality team which i do feel gives us a really good chance of getting champs league.but to win league takes so much more!needs more depth in squad generally more experience being in pressured games! were not great away from home that will have to change just to make top 4 never mind title!were having bit of attention and rightly so and guess theres always a chance but that chance for me is realistic if there come march!we just need to keep on going improve away form,like for me if we follow up beating city and arsenal with an away win v brentford that would in some ways be a bigger win going away after beating them 2 top clubs and following it up with win at brentford that would really fill me with confidence as shows our focus

Any team that's 2 points off the top at the midway point (which is only 2 games away ) definitely has a chance of winning . Leicester City were on the same number of points when they won. Teams around them dropped points. In this league any team can beat anyone. Nothing is impossible! Infact the word itself says "Im possible" ! Let's look at it again after 30 games. The way Villa beat Man City was completely different to the way Villa Arsenal thats shows they can play under different circumstances and yeah all the best teams win when they don't have their A game on. One more fact the last time Villa won 15 in a row was when the won the European Cup in 1981.

Tom was completely wrong about away form, this season we have 3 w 2d 3 l losses were Anfield, SJP and City Stadium. Draws were Bournemouth and Wolves. Wins were Spurs, Chelsea, and Burnley. That is not an attrotious away form. Especially when you consider the influence of Mings/Carlos injuries on our offside trap for those first two losses. Is it good enough to win the league? That's just not true case at all tho. Look at his performances in the world cup for example of that. Had the French defenc3 on strings. People need to realise just because a player doesn't score eveytime he plays against a big team doesn't mean he goes missing in them. Saka has had plenty of good performances against big clubs and has scored and assisted plenty of goals against the big teams he's faced. Realistically Villa don't have the world class players that are required to compete with the likes of Liverpool, City and Arsenal. They haven't had a major injury this season, and if they do get one their squad isn't deep enough to replace whoever got injured. One injury to Watkins or Douglas Luiz and I think they fall back to 5th or 6th.
