I agree with bleedinggreendrakeford, the success this organization has had has a lot to do with how bad the league is. The team was bad when the season started last year. That 10 - 1 start was a hoax. Things didn't just fall apart after the 49ers. Anyone that believes that narrative does not understand the game they are watching. Fans who don't know football dont realize Gainwell help beat the Redskins last year. Gainwell didn't have as good of a year for the same reason Swift didn't. Hurts rarely threw the ball to the running backs and there were games where the Eagles didn't run the ball. Gainwell was a victim to the Nick Sirianni offense just like everyone else.
