ASA I really enjoyed this debate and the expressions on Mohammad H.'s face during this debate had me laughing at some points because I found myself making the same expressions. I am a former Christian but I NEVER understood the trinity and NO ONE in my church could answer me. The Reverend said that Muslims are told not to ask about the attributes of ALLAH...well as a born Christian...I was raised NOT TO ASK otherwise I was told that I was "touched by Satan" or "Seeking out the Devil's Knowledge" for questioning the Trinity and 30 years of that got real old, I knew I couldn't go to church anymore when I prayed directly to God and left Jesus out of the equation. And about the Holy Spirit, just google some videos of people "catching the Holy Spirit" and I swear they appear to be possessed by anything but Holiness. Praise be to ALLAH swt for saving me and bringing me to Islam.

Tawheed has three categories understood directly from Allah’s Book. This division of tawheed is not from someone’s opinion, nor is it merely a traditional way to explain tawheed. This is what is called tawheed al-’ebaadah, or tawheed al-uloohiyyah, and it is the tawheed that is put into practice as the servant singles out Allah in everything He has requested, with an intention for Him alone, in all acts of obedience. 3) The third category is tawheed al-asmaa’ was-sifaat, which means “to believe in every Name and Attribute that Allah affirmed for Himself, or those that His Messenger (sallallaahu ‘alayhe wa sallam) affirmed for Him. Jesus Christ taught Monotheism, not TrinityJesus Christ never taught Trinity in the Bible. In fact the word 'Trinity' does not exist in the Bible and the verse closest to Trinity, 1 John 5:7 has been thrown out of the Revise Version of the Bible as an interpolation, a concoction and fabrication. Like all prophets in Islam, Jesus is considered a Muslim (i.e., one who submits to the will of God), as he preached that his followers should adopt the "straight path" as commanded by God. Traditionally, Islam teaches the rejection of the Trinitarian Christian view that Jesus was God incarnateor the son of God. The Quran says that Jesus himself never claimed to be the Son of God, and it furthermore indicates that Jesus will deny having ever claimed divinity at the Last Judgment, and God will vindicate him.[5]Islamic texts forbid the association of partners with God.

The Prophets of the Old Testament such as Abraham, Noah and Jonah never preached that God is part of a Trinity, and did not believe in Jesus as their saviour.
