Haaland definitely offers things to KDB. Look at the Arsenal game last year. Two KDB goals on two Haaland assists. And he offers his movement that creates space for everything
@Prime1Wunna8 ай бұрын
I think that’s mostly due to the tactic vs Arsenal. Thats a rare instance, most of the time it’s kdb unlocking a defense, haaland doesn’t assist kdb as much and the other way. That’s probably due to haalands gravity so he can’t really get creative as often but just that finisher
@kattphatt8 ай бұрын
@@Prime1Wunna But that game shows the possibility. Especially under another style.

@@Prime1Wunna yeah it’s usually KDB assisting Haaland. But it can definitely happen the other way.

As a bayern fan lewa x muller was A crazy duo. Muller playing second striker behind lewa was scary for defenses . One twos, passes in behind from muller, flicks they had EVERYTHING

The kane and son duo I feel was born out of necessity not that others weren’t but like early spurs days with alli and eriksen they didn’t need to link but as time went on they began to see each other as the only good players in that team and decided to combine more which helped them towards them getting the record
@bexclue30078 ай бұрын
This will sound crazy and you're free to disagree of course as I'm expecting you all will, but for me, the best PL Duo ever is...Kevin De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva. I know this sounds crazy bc no one even registers them as a "duo". _But they are!_ Pep's City team is the best PL team ever. "115 haha", yes I know. But they have had the most dominant PL season ever (17/18), won the only Domestic Treble ever (18/19) and did the Threepeat and the Treble in the same year. While breaking all sorts of records every season, including the record for longest winning run in all comps that was set in _the 1890s_ City under Pep, overtime, have changed quite a lot. They change how they set up and play pretty much ever season. Sometimes a lot, sometimes a little but it always changes. The set ups and formations, the patterns of play and the best XI keep changing from season to season. City had pacy wingers like Sane and Sterling and then very controlled wingers like Grealish and Mahrez. They have played with overlapping FBs, FBs that shift inside and a Back 4 of four CBs. They have played with a smaller striker who is good with the ball at his feet, a False 9 and a big quintessential striker like Haaland. The _one thing_ that never changes: KDB and Bernardo start. Every game. In every season. In any system. They are the two constants in a constantly shifting City side over the past 6 years. The two true diamonds of Pep's City. One of them, KDB, ironically isn't a "Pep Player" at all. He attempts so many difficult passes, there are games where City have a 90% pass accuracy but KDB's is 65%. He could not care less about "possession". That's why you see clips like Pep screaming: "Keep the ball!!!" and KDB screaming back: "SHUT UP!!!". He is a specialist. An incredible attacker with the output comparable to top forwards. Bernardo is, well, maybe not "the exact opposite" but someone who is incredible in his own rights while being very different and perfectly complementary for a player like KDB. He is the teacher's pet. He thinks like Pep. He sees the game like Pep. And while KDB is the guy who like to play fast and ends the game with a 65% pass accuracy, Bernardo is the one who _never_ loses the ball and actively calms and slows the game down, dictates a tempo that is actually healthy for the team and is (unlike KDB, the specialist) _incredibly_ versatile. He's so good defensively, he spent two season playing as a box to box midfielder in the Double Six, while offensively being good enough to destroy teams like Bayern and Real on the wing or to dribble through the entire Liverpool team. He is both the brain and the legs of the team. He always perfectly reads what the team needs at any given moment and his game sense is so good, you can literally see him successfully pressing _three opposing players_ on his own. He personifies the calculated, conservative and tenacious nature of a Pep Team, which then allows KDB to be the maverick. And both of them are _massive_ big game players. To end on a fun fact: When KDB was asked to assemble his dream 5 aside (no keeper) a few years ago, the only other City player he picked (besides himself obv) was Bernardo. He knows :D The other three were Neymar, Messi and Kante.

Looking at EtH spending over £400M to get certain players & not getting them all when the owners released the necessary cash for him to get them in 18 months + the way he treated certain players e.g. Ronaldo, Pogba, VDB etc... + we experienced the worst season we've had for 60 years by helping Man City achieve the Treble to Us this guy came to town to Literally take the piss! We leave you with this.... Officially knocked out of the champions league over 11 weeks ago is a sackable offences so EtH knows his chances of staying already! EtH has been the worst Manager at Man Utd for 60 years, we've experienced since SMB. This manager is purposely going out of his way to mess up everything that we stand for so he definitely doesn't deserve to Stay, Win, Draw or Lose on Saturday or Sunday. Get Rid ASAP!

Haaland and KDB shouldn't even be a mention. Overrated duo. One spams crosses and long balls and the others just runs into the box and taps it in. The problem is Haaland misses BARE chances its embarrassing. And KDB misplaces BARE passes as well as lose the ball a lot. Both of them are dead players individually and can be effective together. BUMS The problem with modern football is that the art of finishing has supremely declined to the point that Haaland is seen as a "deadly finisher" He isn't. Finishing isn't based on he gets many goals. It's the many different types of finishes a player can produce as well as how many he puts away based on the chances. That scrub Haaland misses BARE chances and only has one type of finish. And Kevin De Bruyne is most certainly NOT on of the best creative players the sport has ever seen. RELAX. He is a spam merchant that loses the ball a lot and passes into open space for someone to run onto. He is not an Ozil, a Pirlo or a Riquelme that puts in on a plate for you. I swear these two, Haaland and KDB, have to be some of the most OVERRATED players in premier league history.
