@@OksintasObones No it was taken from Alexander Romance, a fictionalized version of the military expedition of Alexander the Great. The tale played a huge role in Jewish eschatology bcos according to the book of Daniel Alexandria the great which is the one horned stubborn goat from the west defeated the ram with two horns which is the Persian kingdom of the East. After the Sassanid conquest of Jerusalem in 614 AD the Jews were rethinking the whole prophecy in the book of Daniel and how it relates to the unfolding event, they asked Muhammad to give them a clue if he was really being talked to by a god bcos they were confused, but unfortunately Muhammad was more confused than they’re and didn’t know sh!t about the whole thing😅

I think this debate really shows up the invalidity of the claim that KZbin is not a suitable format for academia. I think there was a lot more meat in this than dare I say a velvet glove treatment by a Sean Anthony-type scholar. 😁

Bala stating that Cyrus is loved amongst the Arabs because his name is pronounced Kurush in Persian and that sounds like the tribe of Quraish is a very big stretch. There is no evidence for such a rationalisation in Islamic or pre-Islamic history and it is like an etymology fallacy.

Koran has appropriated Christian apocryphal stories about Jesus . Prophet Idris is an appropriation of the non-semitic and pagan Hermes. Murad has pointed out that In religio- political propaganda of those times a narration of Alexander as a Christian/ Jew existed. A parallel narration of Buddha as a Christian saint existed in Central Asian Orthodox Christianity. So treating Alexander the way it does in no way goes against Koran's usual style.

Whatever be their community or religion there was a significant population who were Hellenised from the time of Alexander (mainly Selucid Greeks ) in the Middle-East, the region of former Central Asian Soviet republics,Afghanistan, Iran and Pakistan. These people were by and large repelled in their efforts to dominate and conquer India and lay scattered on it's north-western borders. A going back to the mores of Mother Greece was impossible since She had changed beyond recognition culturally. With India too playing hard to get they had become increasingly isolated culturally, desperate and anchorless. To these people the story of Dhulqer-Nain in whatever form( Alexander had failed to access the Indian heartland) resonated greatly . Add to it the narration of Ghzwa-e -Hind and they were brought into the Islamic faith massively.

I can easily see how Alexander can be a hero and an inspiration to a group of people that are seaking to conquer the whole world under one caliphate, by imposing their will and customs. Murad's points are too good to ignore and also the evidence he brings. Also, Murad saying that the quran fudged the story up while it copied and stole, makes sense. We see the quran making this mistake with Christian beliefs and making Mother Mary part of the trinity and also getting her genioligy wrong. When you make a stew from leftovers, as you copy someone else's recipe, you can't expect to eat an Angus beef steak. Can't wait to read Murad's "Aramaic" original quran.

Mel, we know the iranian of the time were having a back and forth with China, amd we know through documentation how the relationship changed amd evolved and reflected the development of the islamic narrative. Who it to say that in good ol' quran style, the great wall of china, which is very impressive, was not slapped to an Alexander story? (I know it is a stretch. But this is how a boastful person/ culture reasons...)

I think it’s Alexander primarily because he is an important apocalyptic figure to inspire and recruit Arabs to join the Messianic Jewish campaign to take Jerusalem, rebuild the temple and hasten Jesus’s return. The fact that Alexander was a conqueror is frosting on the cake.

So Murad has actual evidence in writings and in coins. The narrator of the Quran knew nothing about history. He took a mythical story and turned it into the Quran. Bala is trying to use the logic of the Quraysh at the time rather than actual evidence.

Hearing three different accents in one video is wild (in a good way). I agree with Murad, Dhul Qarnain fits the description of Alexander better than Cyrus, though these two historical figures have much in common. Bala made some good points here also, besides the Kurush-Quraysh false etymological connection. Another great video Mel! 🇮🇹 🇦🇺

God bless and thanks Bro Mel for this debate between the Indian Guru and the Arabian St Murad.Hands down its Alexander the Great, so Mabrook Mabrook( Congrats) ya Akhi Murad for your awesome presentation. The Guru had some fairly good points but he dropped the ball when he erroneously said that Islam as a monotheistic religion wouldn't mention a pagan such as Alexander...serrriously Guru you are blissfully unaware of the Pagan origins of Islam, which is nothing but Paganism remodeled into Islam. Also Quraysh from Cyrus is quite an unimaginable stretch. Also at the 5: 26 and 15 minute mark you said that the Quran narrators were well versed with Biblical and NonBiblical sources??? if it were so we wouldn't see many contradictions and flaws .Also at the 15 min mark you said that Mohammed was the last prophet in the Biblical and Quranic line???? seriously .Since when did the Bible acknowledge Muhammad??? However hats off to the Arabian St Murad and the Guru for this fun debate.

in Jewish tradition both Cyrus and alexander are considered righties toward the Jews. alexander - because he respected Jewish religion and did not impose Hellenism on them like the Greeks who came after him,. Cyrus - he is considered a messiah to god as written in Isaiah 45:1 because he let the Jews return to their land and build he second temple.

Bala is talking about Natural barriers. What about Gog and Magog ? Where are they? Don’t forget this Quran is from Allah. If Allah talks in such confusing terms then what about the followers of this Quaran. That is why Muslims are the most confused People on this planet earth. Why Allah did not say : Cyrus , or Alexander by name instead alluding to “Two horns one”? May be it is to attract both sides of Cyrus and Alexander followers. This way you cannot go wrong. 😎

This proves islam is men made religion. Hajj(Pilgrimage) 3:97 and 2:196 hajj time my friends! Do you know that hadith said that Adam did hajj from India. Did Adam did hajj in Indian hindus style? Shave the hair in the head. Wearing Indian dhoti or veshti look alike the Brahmins and their temple priests. Circling 7 times lingam stone/sign of god. Drinking zam zam water. "Allâh means 'Mother' in Sanskrit." There could be the possibility of an Indian influence with regard to the Hindu rituals such as perambulating around the Kaaba , wearing 2 pieces of unstitched linen for men and shaving off the hair from the head and cutting of nails.A lot of material is available on this topic but how much of it is evidence is left to the imagination of the observer. the black stone are the right hand of al lah This stone has a pair of eyes, ears and a tongue and it opened its mouth upon the order of Allah, who put that confirmation in it and ordered to witness it to all those worshipers who come for Hajj.” [Appears in Sahih of Bukhari and Kanz al-Ummal] what is the difference of Buddhists bowing to the statues of buddha and muslims bowing to 7 black stones? my friend -Gautama Buddha-
