Hi 👋 Debbie, I feel like I know you so well. You were there in all my teenage years, I used your music to help me express my feelings ❤ Now, on 25 August 2024, I turn 50 🎉 I've been listening to all your music, remembering my teenage, what a ride. Thank you for the memories, Debbie 😇 Little Secret "Foolish Games." Darren Smith was my heartbreaker 😂😂 it's amazing to see you still going so strong, Debbie. You are a true musician. ❤

I love you and your music then and now Debbie❤ You survived the test of time. I love when you post these split screens. You still sound and look amazing. I saw you live at 54 Below a year or two ago and I was floored! You put on an amazing show and what I loved the best… is your interactions with your fans and your love for them. You are so genuine. I love you 😘

Still looking so young! I think generation Electric Youth hast something special because we still know how the old world was and we had good values. This kind of sound was Special and real. Imagine some of today stars giving a concert live straight away the whole time. Debbie sang always live and was exhaustet after 2 hours of hard work! Nobody does this today! ❤❤❤❤❤❤

“Debbie always sang live…”? Deborah always SINGS live (no ill will. Just sayin,)! And no, I can’t “imagine SOME of today’s stars giving a concert live (comma) straight away (comma) the whole time”. Still, while I (personally) haven’t a taste for the likes of Taylor Swift, I can’t deny that she puts on a “concert, live, straight away, the whole time”. She just bores me. That’s not necessarily her fault. I just don’t remember any of her songs, any of her performance, any of her videos. Still, she DOES work hard. 👍

@@JosephMartin-sj3kz Yes of corse she still does it today. But not in the exhausting amount of concerts in the 80ies -90ies. She is so powerful and one of the most underastimatet singer I can think of.

Yum. Great clip! I hear/see a lot of gripes about how Deborah’s voice has changed. And yes, her latest album (“The Body Remembers”) does feature a higher vocal range than that which millions LOVE (those smooth, dulcet, lowers), but you can’t write her off! While I’m not enamored of her latest foray, it’s Ms. Gibson’s diversity that I treasure. Who knows what’s coming next?! We might hear a country album, R’N’B/soul, rock, singer-songwriter type, another Broadway based album… Who knows? That variety is a huge part of why I simply LOVE you, Deborah! Keep following your dreams, sweetie. 😊🩷🎶 And the rest of you, “just wait n’see”! 👍

Debbie Gibson is one of my favourite... But as she grew older her voice change ... She sounds great when she was young ...
@jaradaniels92896 ай бұрын
I love her adult voice. Her young voice was just that. It was her baby pipes. I think her voice is so rich today. It happens to all us singers as we grow. Hell in my youth I could take on some serious hard songs. Today I gotta take it down a few keys.
@JosephMartin-sj3kz5 ай бұрын
@@jaradaniels9289 It’s not her “taking it down a few keys” (as many like yourself have had to) that seems to be upsetting folks recently. She’s been using her higher register & that straying from her smooth, dulcet, lower notes is what people have been struggling with. Deborah’s taken many a chance before, though, & we never know what she’s gonna’ do next. Her versatility is extraordinary. She’s bound to upset those who want “more of the same” (remember her Broadway based album (“Colored Lights”)? Her mostly singer-songwriter one (“Deborah”). We can always expect something new & THAT’S a certainty. That’s why she’s so special! 👍😊
