I remember Debbie Reynold from the movies, but I did not know this side of her. What a class act. Loved that interview. I’m going to bring the word “tacky” back into our vernacular. Thank you for the video. 👍🏽🙂

God luv Debbie and her wigs; was ever a simple gal born to be a star? And stayed in conflict throughout. I miss her.

Can you please post the Dick Cavett interview with Bobbie Gentry? Thanks!

You can really see the resemblance between her and her daughter Carrie Fischer

I do have nothing against the other celebs that were on this show but is this channel ever going to show the Dick Cavett shows where he interviews Jackie Gleason or Art Carney? How about any Honeymooners actors that were part of the main cast? These are rarities much like all the other Dick Cavett interviews

wow! a Debbie Reynolds interview where she didn't bitch about Eddie Fisher??? wait ... this is only an excerpt of the interview, I'm sure she went through the whole boring saga at some other point in the interview. She spent 50 years of her life talking about her ex-husband. Sad.

I didn't find her charming here at all. She seems like a predator hiding behind confection. And I think Dick felt the same way -- which is why he kept at her. "Tacky," she called him while wearing the tackiest dress ever constructed in modern times.

She was helping ppl with drug addictions? I didn't know that. With all due respect, considering her daughter Carrie got into drugs at 13, maybe she wasn't too good at that and should've concentrated on Carrie instead. Maybe Carrie took up drugs to compete for mum's attention.

@@IanThaddiam yes, but to be fair, all the fashion styles were gaudy and hideous in the 60s and 70s. She was just a dedicated follower of fashion 😁 That wig though is unforgivable 🤮 I'm sure glad tastes hv calmed down a bit since then

@@Danuta628 sweetie, she talked incessantly about Eddie Fisher until the day she died! The idea that she got over him is laughable. 😆🤣😆 Talking about that divorce was her reason for existing for 50 loooong years!!
